"It stands to reason that the Cheval Blanc Randheli, the latest resort from luxury conglomerate LVMH (owners of Louis Vuitton, Céline, Dior, etc.), would set the bar high. The white sands and turquoise waters of the Noonu Atoll, in the northwest Maldives, are the backdrop for 45 one- and two-bedroom villas. The one I stayed in was set back from the beach amid coconut palms, but others are built out over the water. All are supremely elegant—decked out in travertine and cinnamon wood, butter-soft leather, and French linens—and completely private. Not to mention huge: The smallest is nearly 2,600 square feet; mine had a private 40-foot-long infinity pool, and there was enough room in the breezy courtyard between my indoor bath and my equally massive outdoor shower for a restorative massage. As looks go, it doesn’t get chicer than this, but the whimsical touches—turtles drawn in the sand along the path to my villa, thoughtful little notes from my butler left alongside the pitchers of fresh juice—are what truly give this place its character. And the overwater restaurant, Deelani, was my dream combination of beach shack and high-style seafood emporium. –Maria Shollenbarger Editor's Pick: Gold List 2018"

This was our second stay in the last eight months! This is the eighth resort we have visited in the Maldives and we love the luxurious, large villas combined with a bougie LVMH branded high-end feel without being tacky. This is felt from the lovely products in the beautiful gift shop to every linen, body product and alcohol offering. It just works well. Did I mention the fabulous French pastries? Personally we love the high quality bikes to ride around the lovely island and experience so many special well thought out areas like mini golf and sunset patios and beaches. The servers make you feel like family with caring and engaging Maldivian hospitality. Thanks Gasim for ensuring our stay was well curated, and thanks again Laurent to your team of professionals for taking such good care of us and treating us like family.

We just returned from an amazing 7-night stay. Everything about this property is perfection. The food was even better than the Cheval Blanc Paris. In particular the Breakfast pastries each morning were the best I have ever had. If you think the Cheval Blanc Paris has a great Breakfast wait until you try Randheli. Each day they were better than the next. We also enjoyed 1947 which we thought was as good if not better than Plenitude in Paris. This feat is even more remarkable when you consider where you are in the World. Everything about this resort is special. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave it is perfection. All of the staff we encountered were amazing. The spa was exceptional. It is an exceptionally well-run property. Every detail is thoughtfully curated for a perfect stay. The Villas are amazing. A spectacular world class experience.

Unforgettable Paradise Experience - During our honeymoon in the Maldives, we stayed at The Nautilus and Cheval Blanc Randheli. While both resorts had similar pricing, Cheval Blanc truly stood out, offering an experience that transcended our expectations. In hindsight, we only wish we had spent our entire honeymoon there! From the moment we booked, the Cheval Blanc experience was exceptional the team went above and beyond from ensuring we had two rooms to chose from Garden or Island Villa Bedroom both with unparalleled privacy. You would be hard-pressed to find a “bad room” here, as they do not exist! The attention to detail at this resort is extraordinary and evident in every aspect, from the grand design of the villas to the exceptional service from every team member. Our initial 4-night stay was quickly extended to 7 nights, and we still longed for more. We would have gladly extended it to 10 nights if not for work. Dining Experience: Dining at Cheval Blanc is a journey in itself. Beginning with a breakfast menu boasting over 17 pages of à la carte options, the restaurant continues with the staged opening of different dining venues that are anything but ordinary. Each meal is crafted with exquisite flavours and fresh, local ingredients. The warm greetings from the staff and chefs make every dining moment feel like a celebration, turning each meal into an unforgettable experience. Including 1947, which was just beyond what we expected for a remote island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It was divine, and the excellent e’Stephanie made it extraordinary! Spa Island: The Spa Island was another highlight, offering access to private male and female steam hammams, a luxurious treat. We often booked them for ourselves before sunset, indulging in the tranquillity and exclusivity of this unique offering. Spa treatments were tailored to our needs. I was fortunate to have Yen, a talented practitioner who customised each session perfectly, creating a personal oasis of relaxation surrounded by the serene beauty of the spa island. Personalised Service: The level of personalised service we experienced was unmatched. Our majordomo, Firshan, along with the Alchemists, Joseph and his team, truly elevated our stay, turning each day into a delightful surprise. Their attention to detail and thoughtful gestures made our honeymoon feel exceptionally special. Like Bendi, the talented sand artist who every day made something special at the entry of our villa and his team Irushad, who look after our villa's daily housekeeping in style and elegance - the endless amenities of your non-typical and actual quality of Blanc “Resort Chic” fragrances by Christian Dior. Staff Recognition: We especially thank * Firshan, our majordomo who went truly above and beyond! * The spa team: Shrine, Bobby Tiza and the team! * The F&B team members, head chef Michael, whose daily creations are delivered by Micheal hot to the table and their team Hassan, Shajeeu, Aliufran, Sammy Nahid, and Medina, whose kindness and attention to detail left a lasting impression on us. Their dedication made our stay truly unforgettable, and we are grateful for the warmth and hospitality they extended to us. * White Bar White bar creations: A big thank you to the team: Simba and Dinesh, who created terrific cocktails, and Daniel! * The team made the Indian Ocean and Maldivian Lobster evening extremely special, and the musicians highly recommend it! Overall, Cheval Blanc Randheli is not just a resort—it’s an extraordinary experience that redefines luxury. We leave with memories that will last a lifetime and already dream of our return. It was so hard leaving; we honestly did not want to go! We left with so many unforgettable memories and inspiration to return very soon. We can't thank you enough; General Manager Laurent and his entire team have left us with the best memories & genuine gestures of care. It is the place if you’re seeking the ultimate personalised luxury escape. We can not recommend it highly enough; it’s a paradise you’ll never want to leave.🙏❤️

This was our second stay at Cheval Blanc and it did not disappoint (well, except for below). The Male airport is new and Cheval Blanc has a new lounge. The Cheval Blanc staff makes arriving and departing at the airport painless, which is very much appreciated. We stayed in the same villa, 46, which is beautiful. Our Butler Mr. G was the best. It was our anniversary and he went all out decorating our room. It was so special. He made everyday spectacular for us. Cheval Blanc, in general, leaves nothing to want. The villa has everything you need and more. They do not skimp on the amenities they provide in the room. Everything is top notch. You do not feel ripped off. For example, they don't charge for endless amounts of chocolates and snacks, which plenty of their competitors have no problem doing. The food is good. I wouldn't say amazing. I remember it being better. We ate mostly at Deelani, the Italian restaurant. The pasta was definitely better the last time. We ate once at the White and once at Diptyque both were fine. One word of caution, which put a damper on 2 1/2 out of the five days of my trip... On a snorkeling trip, they neglected to warn us that there is plankton (sea lice) in the water. Had we known this we would have bought a long sleeve swim shirt that would have helped me from getting bites all over my body which resulted in a extremely itchy skin irritation causing red bumps all over my arms and legs. Although I complained to the guide when I felt the bites in the water and she told me that if I wanted to I should go back to the boat, once on the boat, no one ever told me to rinse off. So, as a result, I spent the next few days itching and applying ointment and calamine lotion to my body. A nice way to spend a very expensive vacation. Then to add insult to injury, during our dinner at Deelani, I was visited by the resort manager that tried to insult my intelligence by questioning whether this was actually caused by a food allergy, and not by the plankton. Needless to say, I do not have food allergies, I felt 1000 bites in the water and he ruined my dinner.

Love the spacious villa with living room, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor deck with massive private pool and 2 separate bathrooms, especially the pantry/kitchen where your butler comes in every day to place a pleasant delish surprise.||Lovely birthday decoration and love the surprise coffee art from housekeeping’s turndown service! ||Saw dolphin while snorkeling on the sunrise side bungalow. ||My suggestion is i wish the Maldivian night live performance had better lighting on the performance. And maybe fix the VR in teens club||Will be back.

We are so sad to have just left this magical paradise! Truly everything was a 10/10! From the delicious food, to the amazing staff, activities and of course the beauty of the islands! ||The room - was by far the best that I have ever stayed in - the pool was unbelievable and the views next level! ||The staff - everyone from Laurent the manager, to Silvia in marketing, our Majordome Saajiu, the yoga instructor, Aman who set up such a special private dinner for us, Sammy at White Bar and so many others made the experience so magical! ||The experiences - everything was superb but don’t miss the sunset cruise, scuba diving, private dinner and movie night (or jungle movie night) and spa island!!! ||Thank you so much for such an amazing stay! We are already planning to come back for our anniversary!

I'm still basking in the afterglow of what can only be described as the most incredible holiday of my life. My wife and I stayed at Cheval Blanc Randheli for a week, and from the moment we stepped out of the seaplane, we knew this was going to be something truly special.||||First off, the warm and heartfelt welcome at the airport and resort set the tone for our entire stay. Beyond the stunning sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional level of service we received. I’ve never felt so pampered and cared for. The team at Randheli seemed to anticipate our every need, often before we even knew we had one. Our Majordome (yes, they assign you one!) was incredible, ensuring every detail was perfect without ever being intrusive.||||The villa we stayed in – wow. It was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered the most stunning views of the ocean. We spent hours just lounging by our private pool, soaking in the tranquillity. And the sunset views from our villa? Absolutely breathtaking.||||The dining experiences were out of this world. We were blown away by the variety and quality of the food. From casual beachfront dining at the White Bar to the elegant fine dining experiences, every meal was a treat. I have to give a special shout-out to the team at Le 1947 – hands down the best meal we’ve ever had, thanks to Chef Charles and his amazing crew. The attention to detail and flavours was simply incredible.||||Whether it was snorkelling, a romantic sunset cruise, or indulging at the spa (which is located on its own magical island!), there was never a dull moment. Even with so much to do, there was a sense of peacefulness that allowed us to truly relax and disconnect.||||Leaving was hard – we honestly didn’t want to go. But we left with hearts full of beautiful memories and a strong desire to return someday soon. Laurent, the General Manager, and his team were always around, checking in on us every day with such genuine and generous gestures. Thank you, Cheval Blanc Randheli, for making our stay magical in every way. If you’re thinking about going – don’t hesitate. It’s a life-changing experience! ❤️❤️❤️
