Chew Jetty Big Bowl Noodles

📍 ᴄʜᴇᴡ ᴊᴇᴛᴛʏ ʙɪɢ ʙᴏᴡʟ ɴᴏᴏᴅʟᴇꜱ -I visited Chew Jetty Big Bowl Noodles and tried the Seafood Big Bowl with 5x spicy soup level. The bowl was huge, definitely meant for sharing, with at least one other person. The big bowls are only given to orders starting from 2 pax. the singular orders are served in a smaller bowl. The soup was quite spicy, but not as spicy as I expected with level 1 as the base before jumping all the way up to 5. The staff also made sure if I could handle it after finding out I'm from Europe. The noodles were springy and absorbed the spice really well. While I initially went in thinking it was a gimmick, the soup was actually very good and would definitely return and bring friends to have another bowl. The place itself was casual and quite lively, with a lot of people taking photos with their bowls. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering to take our photo and explain the menu. The honey lemon drink was a nice way to cool down from the heat of the soup. Do mind that they don't accept card payments (my mistake!), I ended up 2 ringgit short and had to find an ATM. Fortunately the staff was very kind and instructed me towards the nearest ATM. Upon return they even gave me a bottle of water which was definitely a nice gesture, thank you!

Here we can eat noodles with a super large bowl as long as you order at least 2 portions. It's quite unique..in my opinion the price is a bit expensive for noodles with seafood toppings.. for the taste it is spicy..the place is quite comfortable.. besides that the service is good and friendly.

A very good place to have meals together with family and friends! The more the merrier! Because we can eat delicious soup noodles from a very big bowl that can feed up to 2-7 people, depends on our choices! Not only delicious, the store owners are also super friendly and helpful, they helped us in choosing the menu, taking our pictures and being the choreographer at the same time! 😄 If you come to Penang, this place is a must try!

Place is quite clean, service is ok. Spicy seafood noodle level 5 is quite spicy, the noodle is good. Spicy fried chicken is not spicey. Quite pricey

A trendy restaurant at Xing Zhou Qiao. Its main attraction is serving noodles in an oversized bowl. But it’s not just a gimmick—the noodles and broth are surprisingly delicious. The only downside is that it’s quite expensive.

Super big bowl of noodles at 大碗公面 @ Chew jetty, Penang. The staffs and the boss were really really friendly and they would help to take photos for you. The lady boss was also very thoughtful! The bowl itself is alrdy 7kg, lifting it up to drink the soup is not easy haha! But the soup was flavourful and the noodles were really tangy! Really delicious! Love it and would come definitely come back again for more!

Loved this!! We did it, we finished the big bowl of noodles. The largest bowl I’ve ever seen. You get your picture taken and put on the wall if you finish the big bowl.

Big bowl mee! Must try! Last time, only spicy soup available. Nowadays, got none spicy soup, taste like miso Japanese soup. Big bowl only available for 2pcs of mee & above. If you are having the mee alone, there are small bowl for 1 person quantity. The mee, worth with the price. I like the mee, very Q@taste good, as well as the soup. But, it might bit expensive when u add up side dishes.
