Great place for eating meat. Nothing fancy, just plain amazing meat. And the service is great. As you can see in the videos, they get the meat from their own butchery, which is right next to them, by throwing it through the air as if it was a rugby ball. The owner played rugby in Argentina :) Totally worth the wait!

It was a unique experience, the restaurant is located in a market and there's some butchers around it. So, when you order a piece of meat, the owner (with a megaphone 📣) orders it to one of the butcher who's preparing it and throw it to the owner, who then, cooks it for you. It's really something to see and the food is so good!!! I recommend it 100%

I was in a queue with a small beer before being called 35 mins later. Good tasty steak but quite a lot of fat on mine. It ranged from thick to thin, so thin was medium as requested, but thick was rare. It’s well worth the experience but I wouldn’t do it again and maybe cross the road to the restaurant or try next door. It isn’t as good as the Le Relais de L’Entrocote and your clothes don’t stink. €32.30 total for entrecôte steak , a small beer, a glass of red wine and a single espresso is very good value. I noticed that a lot of workmen ( a good sign) were queuing at the next stall without the theatrics and their food looked good . I would try that next time maybe.

Seeing the great reviews, we decided to have our lunch here. I have to be honest, I was disappointed. First the good points: the service was great, albeit a bit slow at times. But very friendly. The location is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Also, the fan made the heat very bearable. But that’s where it ends. The food was bland, the fries were an absolute disgrace (coming from a Belgium, maybe I’m biased, but they were still frozen inside and floppy!!), and the restaurant is massive so it takes a while for food to arrive. There are only 2 toilets for a lot of customers, so the entrance was clogged with people trying to go to the toilet. Fortunately there were some public toilets at the other side of the food hall, but it’s a shame we had to resort to that. Overall quite disappointing.

Great meal and lots of character. The former rugby player owner uses a megaphone from time to time to shout orders to the butcher across the passageway, who then tosses the wrapped meat over. His wife deftly manages the cooking and plate preparation. Busy, busy, but fun and you will leave satisfied and full. No vegan options here, for sure a meat and potatoes grill- fresh and nicely served.

More Lyonnaise than Lyon. Really enjoyed the cheval persillé, magret de canard, and black pudding. Fantastic atmosphere and great, simple food.

Meals are freshly prepared and Bebelle makes sure you're taken care of! Orders are shouted out on a megaphone to the butchers and thrown over to be cooked. Highly recommended!
