Chez Boub

Nice atmosphere with a lovely outdoor setting. Service with a smile! But sadly, the food, even if it was big portions, was not flavorful at all; very bland tastes. My husband had a super burned sandwich, very bitter; the meat was not flavorful, with no sauce even. The poutine sauce tasted like canned spaghetti sauce. My burger meat was very, very cooked and not very tasty either. We were quite disappointed by the overall meal. I do not recommend this place after trying different restaurants in the surrounding area.

This place is always busy and after eating here, easy to see why. Had lunch here one day (veggie burger) and it was delicious. Loved the French fries. We ended up coming back the next day for breakfast. I got the eggs Benedict with mushrooms and Swiss cheese (forget the name now). The toast and butter that comes with this meal is unbelievable. It sounds silly but having such good quality bread at a breakfast place threw me off. If I’m ever in the area again, would definitely come back! Also for any non-French speakers, we found that most of the restaurant staff spoke English and were very patient and helpful.

Awesome place to grab lunch/dinner if you’re craving some good cozy warm home-feeling meals! Nothing fancy, but the taste is amazing! Their spaghetti sauce is delicious and their pizza is super tasty! Their poutine is a must order! We took the Cochonne poutine and it was one of the best poutine we had so far! We would come back to this place again if we are ever in Lac-Beauport in the future!

We spent a week in Quebec City and visited this gem of a place twice. Great food, atmosphere and service! Jeanne, specifically - she is amazing!! We were fortunate to have her as our server both times. She was so kind, friendly and hospitable! Made us feel so welcome, as if at home away from home. 😊

Delicious food and big portions. My husband got the duck grilled cheese and I got the regular grilled cheese with poutine. They have the authentic squeaky cheese curds if you know what I mean… so delicious. Great spot just outside of Quebec City.

One of the best spaghetti and Caesar salads I’ve had! Great service and food.

Visited for the 2nd time in 2 days just for trying the breakfast menu. Recommended: - The French toast is refreshing with coconut flakes on top - Savory crepe with mushroom and cheese is a must try Original visit for lunch. Recommended: - Pizza - Poutine - Onion soup

Stopped for lunch after a trip to Jacques Cartier and before going to Siberia Spa. They had English menus available, which was nice and appreciated. My husband enjoyed his burger and I my chicken sandwich. The fries were underseasoned. They also had an indoor play area for kids--we didn't have our kids with us but if we had I would have appreciated it!

Chez Boub is a family friendly open environment restaurant that has delisted food and drinks. We had everything from Bloody Mary's, savory and sweet crepe's, to eggs Benedict and they were all very well prepared and tasty. I am looking forward to going back and trying something else today, enjoy!

Good place for and for families! Pizza was huge and not too salty. Kids had the pogo kids menu!

This place is not great. I would not recommend. The Caesar salad has bottled dressing and is really not good. The hot dogs are not good. The pizza is quite thick and very doughy. The fries and gravy were excellent!!!

Reasonable prices. Food is great. Customer service is great. I really like their breakfasts, burgers, poutines, and pizza! One of my favorite restaurants!

This place is definitely open and worth a visit if you're in the area. Friendly service; play area for kids; lots of decent choices for a family restaurant. Fries were abundant and super crunchy. Whether you come here was a small "boub" or specialty "boub"(talking about BURGER names), this place will have you covered.

My family and I went to Quebec City on vacation right before the craziness with the virus started... we stayed at a house nearby Chez Boub...they have great comfort food..lots of room for big families with kids, even a small cute indoor playground for little kids...definitely recommend it
