The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, beautifully located by the riverside, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a relaxed meal. Service was excellent throughout — attentive, friendly, and efficient without being intrusive.
They are especially known for their mussels pots, and it’s easy to see why. We ordered the white wine and garlic mussels (they offer many different flavours), and the portion was very generous. The mussels were extremely fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. The broth was the real highlight — sweet, rich, and full of flavour, ideal for soaking up with bread.
We also had the steak salad, and it was equally impressive. The steak was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender and juicy, and so well-seasoned that it needed no additional sauce at all.
Overall, this is a must-visit restaurant in Dinant — excellent food, great service, and a lovely setting. Highly recommended if you’re in town.
