Chez Camille - Restaurant de Bouillabaisse et Fruits de Mer à Ramatuelle

Chez Camille has an excellent location with beautiful views. The bouillabaisse soup was delicious and served in very generous portions. I also tried the pasta with clams, which was plentiful, though I would have preferred it with a touch of lemon and a lighter finish rather than the rich tomato sauce. The waiters were attentive and friendly, though the porter could have been more welcoming as the initial reception felt a little dismissive. Bread and toast were not as fresh as expected, but overall it was still a memorable dining experience.

Very satisfying lobster pasta and clam linguine. We were craving for some seafood pasta and hotel recommended this place. The food didn’t disappoint. Lobster sauce was very tasty. Seafood was fresh!!! It is on the beach. Nice seatings around the window. A must try place in Saint Tropez.

Brilliant!!!! The food is excellent, the service is fantastic and the management are kind and caring. The atmosphere is amazing. The set menu is good value. I had the fish soup, the best l have ever had. Followed by the Lobster Linguine which was excellent. Desserts are great too!!! Will definitely be going back. Tried to book in February however they are closed for the school holidays so the staff can spend time with their children. I will return in March to try some more dishes on the menu. Can’t wait!!!

The location of this restaurant is amazing! The ambiance, the way the food is cooked, and the overall concept are fantastic. The taste is great, and I will definitely come back. Plus, the view is stunning!

Chez Camille serves the best Bouillabaisse in the st. Tropez, ramatuelle area. The restaurant, located on a secluded bit of beach (end of pamplone) is extremely pleasant with an open air area, and the service is usually excellent. Get organized, get a reservation, and enjoy some of the best seafood to be had anywhere. Do be prepared. It is expensive. But we continue to return every year - at least once - and each visit is a memorable one for good reasons.

Charming dinner spot, lovely atmosphere and service. Chez Camille is a dreamy little spot — the location is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the evening. The prices for dinner were fair, and overall, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. That said, we did feel the menu leaned a bit heavily on butter and onion — both delicious, but by the end of the meal it felt a little too rich for our taste. We also loved the vibe so much that we wanted to buy one of their t-shirts — until we saw it was priced at €75, which felt excessive (more than we spent on dinner!). A more accessible price — around €45 — would still be premium and much more reasonable. All in all, a beautiful experience that we’d happily recommend, especially for the setting and service.

Very good lunch and dining experience overall. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. The ambiance is perfect—right by the sea, with a stunning view and the option to swim after your meal, which adds a lovely touch. Service, however, was a bit inconsistent. While some staff were attentive and tried their best, others seemed to ignore us—possibly due to a language barrier. Still, a great spot for a relaxing seaside lunch.

Disappointing experience. First, the good: it’s a beautiful space overlooking the water and the wood-fired kitchen smells delightful. Unfortunately, that’s really the only positive. The service was frankly terrible. We had a reservation at 20:00 but were not served water or wine for nearly 30 minutes. I can’t recall our waiter’s name because he never provided it. There was no introduction to the menu or the restaurant. The server was absent for most of the evening and never recommended additional wine or beverages through the evening. There was significant delay in our main course while other tables seated after us received their plates. And when we finally received our dishes they were merely OK. Perhaps it was an off night but I can’t recommend this restaurant.

Long time bouillabaisse standby in Ramatuelle with superb location and water view. Can't imagine spending time in the area and not getting over to Camille at least once. Very gracious staff will be happy to deal with your limitations with the French language. Classic offerings are picture perfect, but our last trip left us wondering if the Chef's hand is a little too cautious with the key garlic and intense flavoring that is central to this famous dish. Nous avons besoin de plus de saveur! Let's hope it was a little bit of a one-off. I'll be back.

Although the name hasn't changed since being acquired by new owners, unfortunately it's not the same Chez Camille that was so wonderful and special. What was once an excellent seafood restaurant with an outstanding bouillabaisse, now serves average seafood and bistro quality fish soup (with grilled baguette and cheese) that the restaurant unabashedly offers to inexperienced and not too knowledgeable tourists as a vrai bouillabaisse. Embarrassing and disappointing. If you want great pictures of a beautiful small cove to post to your social media account, then it's worth going, however, if you want an outstanding meal and to sample a true bouillabaisse, don't bother. c'est dommage!
