Lovely, quiet spot in the centre of town. Was surprised the early bird menu was still on at 7.30pm. It is very good value but my meal was quite average. Pate was very flavorful but would have been better paired with lavosh or something with more texture than toasted white bread. Steak was very overcooked. Chatting with another diner at the pub later on (small town 🙂), scallops and fish might have been the way to go.

Dined here recently. The food was beautiful, full of flavour and good portions. The waitresses were really nice and helpful. It was great value also. Highly recommend eating here. Couldn't complain about the wine either as it was lovely.

Perfect date night. Walked in 3mins before they opened and they were accommodating to sit us. We ordered from early bird menu and it has a decent selection. The goat cheese salad tasted fantastic. The pâté was okay, could be plated nicer tho. The beef was mediocre, I couldn’t get that rich and deep beef flavour. Chicken was nice with the touch of onion relish. The timing of the food was perfect, we didn’t had to wait long. Our servers were great, asked us how’s our food after every course. Had a bit of issue when they served our dessert with a mint chocolate ice cream but in the menu it says raspberry sorbet. I pointed it out to our server and she nicely took it back and change the ice cream quickly.

Great restaurant with a french touch. We went there for dinner and had the 3-courses early-bird menu. it was very very good. From the starter to the dessert we were not disappointed. This menu offers good value and great quality. The service was also very nice, and we liked the atmosphere in the restaurant.

This restaurant was perfect in every way. We received a pleasant welcome and service from the waitress. We choose the speciality of the day. The food was excellent, you could see that they use fresh ingredients and that the chef is very talented. The atmosphere was good, we felt at home. Merci!

To summarise very average, overcooked food and overpriced. I ate here with a friend as we were cycling up the west coast of Ireland. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. They were even helpful with somewhere to put our bikes. I booked a table for 21:00 and it took until about 21:20 for our food order to be taken. By this time they had switched off the pizza oven and seemingly missing half the sides. We ordered prawn cocktail and goats cheese to start, and a fillet steak and burger for mains. The goats cheese starter was nice, the prawn cocktail was a fairly generic overpriced starter. When the burger and steak came the burger was mostly mass of overcooked ground meat and the medium steak came well done. It felt like we were just being fobbed off because they were looking to shut soon. The chips were nice. No one bothered to ask how the food was or to check how we were doing. We ate it without being able to get it fixed. When I went to pay at the end after we finished our meal, we were finally asked how the food was and told our honest opinion. The lady at the counter looked a bit shocked but no sorry or discount was offered for the poor mains. I wouldn't really recommend coming here.

The food was amazing and so much better than the overrated Croi. The portion size was good. I can still remember the taste of the food. We would visit again. They catered to gluten free options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was fast. Good wine recommendations too.

This was my first time at Chez Christophe’s restaurant and I was well impressed! We went for my Birthday and I was a bit apprehensive at first because I am a fussy eater and wasn’t sure about French cuisine but wow was I blown away by the beautiful food! I had the crab claws and rib-eye steak (chips are also so yummy and garlic butter) and my partner had the scallops and lamb rack ….Best food we have had in years!! This is truly a hidden gem in Tralee and we can’t wait to return! The staff are fabulous also, we had a lovely waiter and he couldn’t have been more helpful. Thanks for a gorgeous Birthday dinner guys :-)
