Chez Edell Chambres d'Hotes

Decided to stay in this little B&B instead of a larger hotel, and so glad we did. The property is easy to find and parking is on street outside the premises, very easy walk into the centre.|The room was lovely on the 2nd floor, up small set of stairs. We had the twin room, it had comfortable beds, and lovely views of the countryside. Also a small enclosed balcony to sit and have a drink. Tea and coffee supplied outside the room on a table with two seats. Very quiet environment. Shower room with lots of towels and especially liked the dark small facecloths for taking off makeup.|The owners John and Edel are the loveliest friendliest people you’ll meet. Breakfast was lovely, great omelette made by John.|Would definitely recommend staying at this incredible B&B, it’s lovely and great value.

What can you say . Lovely friendly hosts .Edelle and John . Nothing is too much trouble for them Spotlessly clean accommodation elegantly presented . Wonderful breakfasts including fruit yoghurt fresh bread crossiants omelette cereals etc . Would book again in a heartbeat

We had a lovely weekend staying here, John and Edell were great hosts and our room was very clean, fresh towels each day. Very good. value for money for a 2 night stay. John makes a lovely omelette, just all round perfect stay. Lovely to meet John and Edell and share our stories from around the world. Thank you for great hospitality! Perfect location for exploring Monpazier and the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

We can't say enough good things about Chez Edell. Edell and John are extremely gracious and helpful. We loved the breakfast served on their beautiful porch. They were happy to answer all our questions, including helping us with recommendations, maps, etc. It was the most memorable and warm stay on our month-long trip. We think of them often. Really!!

We arrived in Monpazier on a bitterly cold January evening to the warmest of welcomes from Edèll and John. The room we had was lovely and cosy, with a spacious shower room. Everything was impeccably clean. The bed was very comfy, so we had a good night’s sleep. The next morning we were greeted by a fabulous breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, croissants and pastries, yogurts and an omelette, plus good strong coffee and fruit juice - a veritable feast to power-up for the day! In a great location and with parking close-by, Chez Edèll’s chambres d’hôtes and self-catering gîte are ideal for exploring Monpazier and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Just had a 3 night stay at Chez Edell whilst house hunting in the area and can really recommend it. Edell & John made us feel so welcome from the time we arrived. Our room was superb with an extremley comfortable bed and excellent ensuite. Breakfast was a delight and John makes a delicious omelette! We have just spent four nights at Chez Edell, and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfasts were lovely. Edell and John are ideal hosts - very welcoming, kind and helpful. Thank you for the excellent suggestions on what to see and how to get there, and also for the perfect boiled eggs!
