Located in the heart of Troyes, Chez Félix is a must-visit for lovers of authentic French cuisine. With its warm atmosphere and charming retro décor reminiscent of old-fashioned bistros, this restaurant immediately wins you over. Here, the focus is on conviviality and quality flavors, creating an inviting setting where you quickly feel at home. The menu, though classic, highlights carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. Local specialties take center stage, offering generous dishes that reflect the rich Champagne terroir. The Andouillette de Troyes, a regional emblem, is a must-try—expertly prepared and served with a flavorful sauce. For those looking for alternative options, the beef filet with seasonal vegetables is another excellent choice, showcasing both freshness and finesse. On the service side, the team at Chez Félix welcomes guests with a smile and genuine hospitality. The staff takes the time to recommend dishes and share their passion for local cuisine, enhancing the overall dining experience. If there’s a slight downside, it’s that some dishes may seem a bit pricey. However, the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions more than justify the cost. Additionally, the well-curated wine list features excellent local selections that pair beautifully with the dishes. In summary, Chez Félix is a solid choice for anyone seeking authentic cuisine in a pleasant setting. Whether you’re dining with family, enjoying an evening with friends, or discovering the flavors of Champagne, this restaurant delivers a delightful and welcoming culinary experience—one that makes you want to return.

Very nice restaurant. This may sound irrelevant, but lighting was great, comfortable to the eyes and complement the presentation of the food. The staff team was professional. We felt welcomed. The food was great 👍 Of all nice-looking restos in the neighborhood, we were very happy we went to this place.

Great meal awesome setting. Make A reservation because IT is a locals favoriete too. In the heart of the historical heart of this beautiful town with lots of authentic old architecture. We where lucky to get a table in the garden/Jardin go for it! You Will not regret. Tip for wine and champagne lovers, lots of choice on the menu. 😊🥂

Well presented food in a hipster restaurant though the customers are not hipster at all. Just some niggles…. It’s odd for me to put quinoa with processed ham. No vegetables with the mains but then, this is France. The service was quick and efficient, except when it came to getting and paying the bill.

Unwelcoming service, hugely marked up wine and mostly inedible food. In a French brasserie, you’d at least expect decent frites! The best item on the plate was the salad leaves. Avoid.

A very nice restaurant, special inside the small garden with fountaine. The entrecote was very good and for a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and speaks also English a bit. The menu is not to large.

Fantastic experience at Chez Félix. Staff is very kind and courteous. Atmosphere is charming and menu offers a solid spectrum of choices. We ordered the entrecôte and were delighted that it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Charming evening, highly recommend!

Fine dining it isn't, dishes presentation lack imagination; chopped up tuna (tartare) served with a dollop of coleslaw and duck breast served with a plate full of new potatotes hardly gastronomic, great service it doesn't have but, nice location.

Yelp
Chez Felix is a nice cozy spot in central Troyes. The decor is "modern country" and the chairs are comfortable. Which is good as you're going to be here a LONG time. We both ordered the dinner formule (3 courses) and a bottle of wine. And then we waited. And waited. And waited some more. I am not joking - it took ONE HOUR for our starters to come out. ONE HOUR for pate which is premade! It was plenty tasty and a large amount but the timeframe isn't cool. Our other courses lagged as well, not as bad though. In all, dinner took 2.5 hour and we were charged the ala carte price rather than the formule price. Not wanting to have to spend the night there we paid up. Maybe it was an off night?

Yelp
It is a typical French restaurant, hidden in a very cute street. You will find few unexpected dishes - you'll have a fish, an andouillette, a beef piece (their €25 rib steak is excellent), and a few other meat specialties. They didn't have any vegan option when we went, but a vegan colleague asked for a special plate and they managed to make a very nice one. Desserts are also very expected: a chocolate cake, a pie, an ice cream assortment, a fruit carpaccio, all around €8. Service is nice, but quite obviously young and not very experienced. Bottom line? It is a conventional restaurant that will be consensual for a work dinner, or a large group. But I found it very expensive (starters cost around €10, main €18-25) for Troyes, and lacking the wow factor for that price range.
