Chez Flo

It's really hard to find anything negative about Chez Flo! The owners Florence and Yannick are perfect hosts, alsway friendly and eager to help. The even made restaurant reservations for our entire stay and the choice was great (l'Orchidea was the highlight - strongly recommended!). Chez Flo is only one year old, the house, the garden, the pool and the rooms are in perfect condition and they only used quality furniture. Breakfast was a delight and the best of our entire stay in the Carribean. It's in a quiet and safe location, about 10 minutes walk from the city centre (Marina). We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could be back soon!

The single largest problem with Chez Flo is having to leave it. ||It's a beautiful, secluded setting - small scale, designed with great taste, while everything is meticulously tidy and well kept. The generous, fresh and homemade breakfasts were a highlight. And then there is Flo and Yannick - they couldn't be more hospitable, friendly and welcoming. |Highly recommended on an island of excellent options. |We are already looking forward to revisiting in future (we wouldn't normally repeat trips). To the five ⭐️, I could add even a few more… Together with my wife and daughter, we have spent a fantastic week (2-9 Apr. 23) in the villa “Saint-Martin” at “Chez Flo”. The whole experience is simply flawless: from the online reservation to the stay itself. The owners are truly complementary: the professionalism of Flo combined with the kindness and availability of Yannick make you feel welcomed and at home. With Yannick, you cannot dream of a better “host-in-chief”: he manages the generous breakfast 🍳 🥐 🧀 🍉 🍌 and he shares his own experience and all the tips you need to know to discover the major highlights of the Guadeloupe’s islands (e.g., Grande-Terre, Basse-Terre, Petite-Terre, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, etc.); to find the idyllic beach spots 🏖️ and shopping locations 🛍️; and to enjoy the most tasty places🍴for lunch or dinner. No doubt, this is probably the best and most recommendable place to stay in Saint-François, a great starting point to uncover the Guadeloupe🏝️

Beautiful property in the heights of St Francois. Rooms are luxurious and spacious with huge bathroom and pretty outdoor terrace on two sides. 10-20 minute walk to high end restaurants. Very quiet street, the only place in Guadeloupe where I was not woken up by roosters in the morning! Florence and Yannick are fantastic hosts. Florence goes out of her way to take care of all your needs. She even booked my ferry and my hotel in Les Saintes. She will point out the best beaches that you will not find easily online. She also reserved top dining for me including a special event dinner. Well worth booking your stay at Chez Flo. I was really glad to have found it.

We had a wonderful week and really enjoyed the great hospitality of Florence and Yannick, the beautiful garden and the peaceful place. ||Everything was perfectly organized and the restaurants recommended and booked by Florence were all 5*as well as the excursions. We definitely have to come back and stay longer.

A great start when visiting Guadeloupe. Flo is a perfect host, cabins are spacious and clean. You feel at home right away. The welcome cocktail, the singing tiny frogs, the lush garden.... a bit of paradise.||There is a supermarket close by, but one must have a car.

it's very unusual that you come across an establishment as perfect as this one. It's just lovely as are the hosts and it feels as if eveything is new.||||Add to that the tranquillity and spaciousness of the property and you have something really special.||||It was by far the best place we stayed at in Guadeloupe and it would be my first choice if we went back, and gicen the size of the island you could pretty much base yourself here and see everything.||||The only caveat I would put on it is that you really need a car as there are really no eating options within walking distance - yes you can walk into town but in the heat it's not much fun.
