Beautiful B&B in the heart of Old Quebec & the perfect place for Winter Carnivale. Easy walking to all attractions including the Carnivale ice sculptures, bars, Castle. Marjorie & Valerie were the perfect hosts - arranging taxis, restaurants, Nordic Spa. Breakfasts were always delicious and served with a friendly smile and conversation about Quebec. Room was very clean & comfortable. Beds/pillows great.

An Amazing Four-Night Stay with Family I recently spent four wonderful nights at this hotel with my family, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly with smiles and professionalism, ensuring all our needs were met with care and attention. The breakfast exceeded our expectations! There was a wide variety of options, including hot and cold dishes, fresh bread, delicious fruits, and high-quality coffee. It was the perfect start to our day, and even our kid enjoyed it immensely. The hotel’s location is another highlight. It offers easy access to the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas, allowing us to make the most of our trip without wasting any time. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to families and other travelers. We’ll definitely be returning in the future!

The perfect place to stay in Old Quebec. We felt very comfortable here, enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, and were warmly welcomed by Marjorie & family, even allowing for our late arrival and early departure. I wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed 5 nights for our carnival trip to Quebec. It is a fantastic place to be while in the old town. We initially chose it due to proximity to all events of the carnival and city landmarks as we had a 6-year old and wanted to walk everywhere. We stayed at the family room which is spacious and beds are very comfortable. The best part was the service and attention we got from Chloe and Marjorie. They truly care for their guests and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and served promptly every morning.Thank you for an amazing experience.

We had an amazing time at Chez Hubert! Amazing location, clean and charming rooms, and lovely staff. They were kind enough to make a gluten free breakfast last minute for my boyfriend as well! Would recommend this cute B&B to anyone coming to Quebec City!

A lovely place to stay, just inside the walls. Easy to walk everywhere. Lots of nearby restaurants. Comfortable room, good breakfast beautifully presented, and excellent service. AND parking included immediately behind the building. I expect to be back.

We stayed at Chez Hubert Nov. 23-26, 2023 and loved the place, the breakfast and the location. The owner, Marjorie was very helpful and replied to any questions that we had very quickly. Luca, who checked us in and who was available all weekend, was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. He also prepared a delicious breakfast each morning. The place has an old world charm with a common room on the 2nd floor where guests can mingle or just relax. We played some cards and shared a glass of wine. Everything within Old Quebec is within a 10-15 minute walk. We enjoyed the place so much that we already want to plan another trip there. Steve and Mary

Superb location, ideally base for a city break. The bed and breakfast is a character-filled building on a quiet street, a 5/7 minutes walk from a stop for the bus from the airport. Breakfast is excellent, a buffet arrangement. Comfortable communal sitting room and good wifi. Staff were bilingual French/English, but the atmosphere is very much of the city.

Yelp
Everything about this gem was truly exceptional! Chloe was attentive, super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were beautifully prepared and leisurely. Our room was lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean.

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this place. It felt like we were staying with friends while being treated like royalty. Majorie, the owner made it so easy to reach her and book our stay. She was lovely and was able to communicate easily with us in English, which was so helpful, as our French is far from good. The home is beautiful and quaint! I am a cleanliness fanatic and Chez Hubert was spotless!! Our room was lovey and having our private bathroom was perfect. Lucas was our host for most of our time there. He is fluent in English and French. He is so kind, friendly, welcoming, and helpful! (and an amazing chef!). We have welcomed him to visit us if he is ever in the states. The breakfasts were homemade and delicious, and each day was a different main part of the meal. There was also fresh fruit, fresh breads, jellies, peanut butter and hazelnut spread each day. Beverages of coffee, tea, and orange juice were offered every day. Chez Hubert's location is perfect. You step out of the door and you are in Old Quebec City. An easy walk to all of the amazing sites. If you are lucky enough to travel to Quebec City, the place to say is Chez Hubert!

Yelp
My wife and I spent three nights with Marjorie in mid-October (pretty much the last three days before Winter struck) and had a wonderful time. It doesn't feel like you've booked a place to stay, but rather a friend has an Aunt that lives in Quebec City, and she'll let you stay in one of her rooms if you throw her some money towards food and electricity. You're not guests, but more a part of her extended family. We had a room on the third floor with a shared bathroom and it was exactly all that was needed. If you fear sharing a bathroom with the others, I have to say that there wasn't a single time during the 72 hours or so that I went to use the bathroom and someone was using it. It was also incredibly clean! The bedroom had a sink so that was convenient. Space was ample and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic! Marjorie mixed it up every morning and there were always staples like fruit, cheese, pastries and spreads. All of the other guests that we met during breakfast mainly spoke French, but Marjorie would go out of her way to make sure we all knew a little about each other. The location is great in that it is inside the walls, but it is also very close to the walls, so you can venture out without much effort (or climbing). Don't feel like you need to stay within the walls the whole time. We found a fantastic bar just outside the walls that became our go-to place for nighttime entertainment. Also, note that the second floor has a spacious living room area. I used it one night to watch sports and had some beers in the mini-fridge a few feet away. It seemed abandoned most of the time, but it could be a nice place for a night in. Parking comes free with your stay so it was nice to just tuck it away and not worry about it. If you plan on getting the car every day (don't do this unless you're actually traveling far), some cars might need to be shuffled, but it's not a huge ordeal. All in all, this is a FANTASTIC VALUE for Quebec City. We had a great time and will gladly return in the future!
