Great Stay and Amazing Breakfast, But a Few Small Fixes Needed
I really enjoyed my stay at this bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and clean, and the overall atmosphere was warm, charming and inviting. One of the standout features was the breakfast—it was absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best parts of the stay.
That said, there are a few things that could be improved to make this a true 5-star experience:
1. Entry System Confusion – There are two sets of doors: exterior and interior. The code box is located on the interior door, not the exterior one, which caused some confusion upon my arrival. A numbered keypad would be very help, as the keys are not numbered it's hard to tell which direction the code should be entered (starting from top down or bottom to top?).
2. Garage Number Visibility – As shown in the photos, the garage numbers are difficult if not impossible to see, particularly at night and/or in the rain. Even though they’re circled in yellow in the photo, you still can’t see them. When I arrived, it was dark and pouring rain, and I couldn’t make out the numbers at all. Better lighting or clearer signage would really help.
3. Shower Safety – A non-slip shower mat would be a good addition for safety, especially for older guests or anyone concerned about slipping. When soap hits the shower tray it si very slippery.
Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and I would return—but with a few minor improvements, it could easily be a perfect 5-star experience.
