We stumbled across this restaurant whilst making our way to Gare Du Nord. The service was brilliant; all waiters and waitresses were friendly and attentive. The food was second to none and I can’t understand why there are so many negative reviews. We will definitely visit here again- well worth the visit!

I tried the andouillette without knowing it contained intestines, which gives me allergic reactions, and our waiter happily gave me something new. The Caesar salad was the best I've had - better than any I've had in the US. He and the owner (and Maurice the puppy) were all incredibly friendly and the food was deliciouse!

Nice homely Parisian dish. And Moris(the dog) greets and welcome you. Nothing fancy here. Great when you are hungry.

Me and a few friends came here to have a drink, and everything was okay until it came time to pay. The waitress left us with the card machine and as we all started to pay, the receipt got stuck and stopped printing. We couldn’t find our waitress and we continued to pay. When she came back we showed her the problem and she fixed it and she demanded we all pay. We had all paid already and we showed her on our phones where we had the charge and the amount and the date and time. She starts getting upset saying that it’s not possible that the machine it didn’t print. When she saw herself it was jammed and nothing was coming out. She wouldn’t look at our charges on our phone that we all had paid, and then another waiter came up to us and got very aggressive. She said it was fine because it was only 6€ and it doesn’t matter if we don’t pay, (even though we tried to show her physical evidence that we all indeed did pay) but the other waiter did not back down. She had to push him back because he was yelling and getting aggressive with us. We told him that the machine wouldn’t print and he said he worked there for 4 years and that it’s impossible that it didn’t print. ( Yes, because machines are always reliable) It was uncomfortable with how close he got and was yelling at our faces, a friend took the fall and paid again so that he would calm down and get out of our faces. It was a very scary situation and I honestly would not recommend coming here simply because of the staff. Sad when the drinks were really good and affordable.

Lovely atmosphere with the tiny dog wandering around (but not bothering anyone!). The staff were pleasant and courteous. It felt like a family run restaurant. The food was very good and the portions large. Creme brulee was delicious!

My girlfriend and I came here one morning during our stay in Paris--and then returned subsequently every morning after that. Not only is the breakfast fare delicious, they also serve an excellent vegetarian lasagna for dinner. The owner of this cafe and all the staff were so kind and welcoming to us as travelers, greeting us warmly every time we sat down to breakfast. I highly recommend this cafe to any traveler seeking to take a bit of time in the morning to plan one's day in Paris. At the end of our stay, when we left with suitcases in tow, the entire restaurant staff waved goodbye to us from the cafe terrace--like family.

I normally never write reviews but the experience I had at this restaurant today deserves to be told. My boyfriend and I walked here after touring the area and we were greeted by an unpleasant waiter. Not thinking much, we took our seats and I asked where the washrooms were. Embarrassingly I had an upset stomach so must have been in the bathroom for no more than five minutes. Out of nowhere, the same waiter who greeted us, barges into the bathroom, asking why I was taking so long. Not only did this make me extremely uncomfortable, it was frightening since this is a man coming into the women’s bathroom. I quickly washed my hands, walked outside and told my boyfriend what had happened. Distraught we decided to leave, but the manager saw that we were upset. He came over to speak to us and I began explaining the situation. The same waiter then came outside and started interrupting, when my boyfriend spoke up and told him what he had done was not right. Out of nowhere, the waiter began swearing (I won’t repeat what he said, but it was absolutely shocking). I am a well educated, well travelled female who has NEVER been treated so horribly. I work at one of the leading news broadcasters in the world and if it were up to me, I would put this man on blast. I’m just upset that I never got his name. If the owner is reading this, please speak with your manager and fire this miserable human being immediately. Not only did he walk into a FEMALE’S bathroom, which to my understanding is against French law unless under extreme circumstances, but he embarrassed me further by yelling at my boyfriend and me in an obscene manner. Absolutely deplorable and deserves swift action from management.
