Loved our stay at Marie's BnB! She is so personable and helpful! She rented one of her bikes to me for 20€/day. She also let me drop my bags at the property before check in time and pick them after check out. Great help! We enjoyed the breakfast of fresh coffee, croissants, bread, jams, granola, homemade yogurt. We payed 12€pp for the breakfast as we didn't book directly. The is no air conditioning but I have to say that even though we were there during a heat wave (95-100f each day) the apartment didn't get too hot and the fans kept us cool enough at night. Tips for travelers: Book directly with Marie, if you go through Booking.com you don't get breakfast included. Rate is better if you go directly. Also if you need wash and fold there is a dry cleaners (pressing) in town that can do that for 20€ per "bag" with a next day turn around time. My only suggestions to improve are to beef up the Wi-Fi (from the annex apartment the signal wasn't enough for streaming) and to install air conditioning; I always travel in a heat wave! Air conditioning would also allow for more privacy (to close windows).

We had a great time at Chez Marie. We stayed 4 nights. Marie, and her son, were wonderful hosts, our room was great, and the breakfasts were special. Not just because of the food, much homemade, was great, but it was a lot of fun trying to talk with Marie's other French guests [which she encouraged]. The location is an easy walk from the train station, it's very quiet at night, some nice places to eat nearby and the old town is an easy walk as well. Beaune is a beautiful place.

The B&B Chez Marie is perfectly located near the train station and close to the centre of town. My husband and I had the cute, small room facing the inner yard. The bathroom was clean and modern. The included continental breakfast was perfect. Marie was warm, welcoming and helpful. We rented bicycles from her one day and enjoyed riding "la route des vignes", allowing us to discover the area's small towns while cycling along the vineyards - it was the perfect thing to do in Bourgogne! Merci.

Super guest. Marie is very helpful with the small things (bike renting, advise on what to visit etc). Always fresh orange juice & fresh croissant for the breakfast. Very fair price for top location (less than 10min walk for every Beaune spot)

Our family of three stayed in the Annexe of Chez Marie just across the road, on July 27th. Marie was away, but her husband was an excellent host, very welcoming and happy to discuss the Tour de France with us and our hopes for Geraint Thomas! ||Chez Marie is just a short walk from town which was great. Bikes were safely stored and we parked just along the road without a problem. The Annexe was very hot, which couldn't really be helped in the conditions and there was a portable air conditioning unit in the bedroom.||Breakfast was really good, homemade yoghurt being a highlight. Definitely recommend this B and B.

Think of a polar opposite of Paris. That is what it is like in Beaune. Marie and her husband are fantastic people. Chez Marie is located a short walk from the train station yet very close to the center of Beaune. We were there for three nights and enjoyed our stay there immensely. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was great. They had homemade yogurt. We also rented bicycles from them for a day and followed the bike path until the heat and distance said no more. If we were to return to Beaune, we would stay there again.

Marie and her husband are the nicest people. Great, clean room and wonderful breakfast with homemade yogurt. The only complain I have is that we only stayed one day. The location is perfect for a walking tour of Beaune. There is an excellent selection of restaurants just around the corner.

Very cute little b&b with three rooms. Marie and her family are excellent hosts. There is a very nice garden courtyard with a dining table. The breakfast room is cozy and welcoming. Our room was a very nicely decorated space, with bathroom ensuite. It was about the size you expect from a European hotel room. Very close to town, but quiet at the edge of the central area. Very easy to walk everywhere in Beaune.

Yelp
From the exterior, this place looks like a rather nondescript residence on a narrow side street in Beaune. But step inside, and you are in for a real treat. The spacious, immaculate rooms are tastefully decorated, and the charming garden terrace in the backyard is the perfect setting to open up a bottle of wine and while away your precious hours in the French countryside. Best of all, Marie is exceptionally hospitable. Wake up to the most adorably home-grown breakfast ever: jams made by Marie's mother and aunt, homemade yogurt and granola, bakery-fresh croissants and baguettes, fresh-squeezed orange juice - all served in the garden terrace. Marie serves her guests with genuine courtesy, and you can tell that she truly loves what she is doing. I enjoyed every minute of my stay here - what a dizzying reversal of my former opinion on French hospitality!
