An absolute pearl! My wife and I visited Liège for three nights. Our normal routine during vacations is to dine a new place every night. However, the friendly service and great food kept us coming back, all three nights.
A menu in english was appreciated. So was the owners ability to communicate in english, as neither my wife or I speak french.
The atmosphere is calm, and it's definitely not fast food, but it was very tasty.

We had an amazing night. Everything was great. We all had a starter, main dish and dessert. We also shared a bottle of wine. The entire experience was perfect!

I distinctly remember the cook standing in the kitchen with a big pregnant belly at the time. We thanked her especially and got a warm thank you back. Delightful!

We had a delightful meal here. The staff was very hospitable and treated us well. We are from the US and are visiting Belgium. We were looking for a nice restaurant. We entered the restaurant, not knowing that we were at least an hour early for dinner service. They still welcomed us and encouraged us to stay. We do not speak French, but we communicated just fine and they brought us English menus.
The food was wonderful. The leek soup with lovely crispy crackers was a tasty starter course. We enjoyed very tender steak with sauce, traditional Belgian meatballs with tangy sweet "syrup" sauce, and traditional Belgian french fried potatoes. The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. My husband enjoyed a liquor with his meal. I had cafe au lait. A very nice dinner and pleasant, quiet dinner for two. I highly recommend this restaurant.
