Cute patio for happy hour drinks. We came on a Friday evening at 5:30pm and was able to get a spot on the patio for 2 immediately. There's a bit of scaffolding at the moment which doesn't help with the aesthetical outside. But other than that a chill spot for a drink. Would recommend and come back.

Loved this spot for a chill drink. I’d say it’s a good vibe for a romantic date or just with friends. The lighting is quite romantic vibes I’d say. The cider is really good! It’s slightly sweet but also dry. For $8, a solid buy. The popcorn ($5) is huge. So much. But it needs salt badlyyyyy. Our server was so nice!

Nothing special. No beer on tap, bad natural wine, and very expensive. It’s not a cocktail bar or pub, so it really doesn’t have much. They couldn’t make a mojito, nor did they have mezcal. $40 for a bad glass of wine and a margarita. The space is okay.

i've been going to the commerce for YEARS and always loved the place. i was looking forward to grabbing a quick drink on my way home tonight. I was there at 11:30, which i thought was plenty of time as they close at 12. As i walked in i was met with a 'oh sorry, we closed early tonight' despite the 5 or 6 people still drinking at the bar (who all wished me a 'bye-bye' and 'see ya later' as i left after being denied btw). really sucks that this happened as i really do love it there. but with so many options on queen east, i'll be taking my business elsewhere.

This space is absolutely perfect for your little wine dreams. The environment gives you the feeling of a NYC wine bar, yet also makes you feel like you are on the set of a Hallmark movie. The staff is wonderful and their wine list is great! Chez Nous is also extremely fairly priced.

I highly recommend this place! Good wine options (glass, half bottle, full bottle). They don't have a food menu, but you are welcome to bring food from other places. I order the cheese board to pair with my wine...it was delicious! Very nice and charming environment! Awesome wine bar!

Nice chill small bar. Music is terrible but the male server with perfect teeth, I don’t know his name, but I think blue eyes, very friendly guy that always smiled and looked happy.

Lovely little corner wine bar. Cozey and a great place to enjoy a "Happy Hour Cocktail" on the way home.

Yelp
Low-key, unassuming bar with a small patio tucked along Queen & Boulton. Quite nice that the patio is on Boulton so you get the action of Queen Street without it being too busy. Their Happy Hour from 5-7PM is a steal. Patio slowly filled up and service was pretty attentive for a one-man show, without being too excessive. The only downside is the limited hours (5PM-2AM) and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Either way, will definitely be back!

Yelp
Nice and cozy bar in a quiet area. The bar doesn't boast of excessive square footage which is what makes it an ideal spot for intimacy. The ambience is pretty soothing with tiny candles on the table and some very mild lighting does give a very calming feeling. The music may be playing a tad on the louder side but it wasn't too bad. The bar has a pretty decent wine collection, but what we really enjoyed was the Death By Afternoon and the French Seventy Five cocktails. Obviously, there were delicious cheeses to taste along with the drink which was served with onion jam and pickles. The best thing about the bar is that servers don't pester you for your next round of drinks and give you your space. In short we were lucky to get a table on a late Saturday evening.

Yelp
I don't venture out to the east side for bars often but maybe i should start to! Was at a nearby patio but service was so slow, decided to leave and pop by Chez Nous since it gave such cozy vibes. Super glad we did that because it provided us with the quietness we needed. Cocktails were good and average for the price. I really enjoyed how it wasn't packed. Would come back for drinks again if im in the area

Yelp
The curried deviled eggs and nutty mushroom paté were amazing. Really tasty new york sour and negroni as well

Yelp
The most dour, sullen, miserable hostess/owner ever. Why be in the hospitality business if you don't know how to smile?! Lame wine list selection of locals, its too dark to see if there is any depth to the wine anyway. Not recommended. How do I give it no stars?

Yelp
Recently came here for a friend's birthday party and was struck by how low-key and intimate this place was. The wine list features Niagara wines and about half a dozen craft beers. The space was cozy and great for catching up with friends particularly because it wasn't overly noisy (even when out on a Saturday night). Our group of 10 was able to audibly converse with each other across a long table with little to no yelling involved. The food menu was very simple. There were some basic meats, cheeses, olives, and pickles available. My only suggestion would be more inspiration with the crackers. The straight-out-of-the-box cracked pepper and olive oil Triscuit crackers just didn't do it for me. Overall, I appreciated the casual, no-fuss focus on wine and conversation here. Would return.

Yelp
Cozy and romantic wine bar located on Queen East. It's definitely a hidden gem of the city and am glad I got to experience this place as I have a feeling it will get more popular in the summer. It is not pretentious and a great place for a date or an outing with some close friends. They have a decent wine list and a nice chacuterie platter option to snack on.

Yelp
Beautiful little neighbourhood gem... great selection of Ontario wines and snacks in a gorgeous yet unpretentious setting. The owner Laura is a delight and I'll most definitely be back!!

Yelp
This is a very comfortable place to spend part of an evening. I came here last night with my daughter and we yakked for a few hours. We should be past the point where we applaud a wine bar for not being pretentious. So I won't linger on that. This could be a concept bar, as in Chez Nous -- about Ontario drinks and snacks. However, it's not quite there yet. There is no artwork or furniture to suggest it's about Ontario. Nor does the owner curate an Ontario experience. She doesn't seem to know the stories behind many of the drinks she sells. I am the kind of customer who likes to know stories about food. Otherwise, I wouldn't go to a place that sells Ontario wine exclusively. The whole restaurant industry is about to face disruption on the scale that bookstores and newspapers have. People can use the internet to order home delivery of food. When that happens, the prize will go to the one with low prices, because there's no premium for atmosphere or knowledge of servers when you eat at home. So there has to be value in the atmosphere and curated experience of the staff, or there's no reason not to buy impersonally on price alone. Then our main streets will really be in trouble, which would be a shame for Leslieville. I'd like to see the place succeed, so I hope this is taken as constructive criticism.

Yelp
What a beautiful gem of a wine bar! All Ontario wines on a list that is thoughtfully curated to delight varied tastes and preferences. Unpretentious and welcoming, this lovely space is ridiculously elevated by Laura's hospitality. Can't say enough for this warm and cozy setting!

Yelp
The wine list is simple, yet local, well coordinated and delightful. The bartender/owner Laura is always up for a warm chat. The environment is low key yet upscale, but you'll feel just as comfortable in a t-shirt and jeans as an evening dress and heels.

Yelp
I am unsure why Toronto has not created a 100% Ontario Wine Bar until now - however Laura has created one that has a relaxed and neighbourly feel to it. Great wine list at great prices. Highly recommended! Merci Chez Nous!

Yelp
This polished yet unpretentious neighbourhood gem is the perfect place to go on a date or catch up with friends and sample delicious and affordable Niagara wines. Owner/wine slinger Laura is a great conversationalist and has excellent taste in music too. If I didn't live in the West End, I'd be a regular.
