I tried the blueberry cheesecake and it was good! The spot is cozy with a charming, old-world ascetic vibe that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making for a truly pleasant experience overall. Highly recommended if you're looking for a relaxed setting to enjoy some great tea and treats❤️

Dropped in here to check it out and have the blueberry cheesecake people say is good. In fact it was tasty and portion size quite good. Service wasn't great - had to chase staff to get a table, for the order etc. But very strangely, the waiter brought me my bill suddenly without asking. The place was almost empty and I had only been there less than 30mins. I found this very rude.

The low star reviews are obviously fake coming from haters and competitors! We stayed in Kochi for a week and came every single day! First drawn in by the very greatly fresh brewed filter coffee which came to a very low price. We gave it a first try and was a huge surprise. It's high quality coffee, strong, black as we liked it. They also serve sugar and fresh milk with it. So why bother and go for fancy Americanos, lattes or others nearby and pay 200rs when you get here a really great coffee for only 80 RS? This made us fully believe in this very cozy and instagramable place so we tried the cakes. The BLUEBERRY CHEESE CAKE tastes like heaven on your tongue. As a German we are known for work class pastries and this cheese cake is really one of the Kuch better ones you ever can find The lunch and dinner sets are a great value for your money , super fresh and very tasty. Great welcoming owner, friendly and professional. One tip for him: stay around more in the shop and do the order booking and cashier task yourself. The young and new staff ( both very good) seem a bit overwhelmed with this and wanted to charge us less than we actually had consumed. Not everyone is honest like us and explained to them and paid fully at the end.

Our experience proved to be not only delightful but also inspiring. The exterior alone has cemented its place as one of Fort Kochi's prominent landmarks. Observing the lively atmosphere within, we sensed there was more to discover than just a beautiful facade. While I anticipated a weathered mansion, upon entering, we were met with an unexpected ambience of sumptuous warmth, positivity, and charm - a quality found in well-preserved vintage homes. The artfully designed interior was impeccably clean, the air filled with a pleasant freshness and surprisingly cool despite Kochi's summer heat. Unbeknownst to us, we had entered a space that exuded the rich history of Kochi, the "Queen of the Arabian Sea." The Dutch architecture, characterized by high ceilings, expansive windows, vintage furnishings, intricate woodwork, and rare 200-year-old prints of Indian landscapes, transported us back in time. The restaurant caters to a diverse clientele, from families and couples to individuals working on laptops. There was a designated area for smoking. They have air-conditioning for peak summer time. The menu presented an eclectic fusion of traditional Kerala, North Indian dishes and contemporary cuisine, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The culinary heritage of the region shone through in the thoughtful presentation and rich flavors. The blueberry cheesecake and masala chai were especially delightful. The ambience was enhanced by a variety of cozy seating arrangements and tasteful decor, making it an ideal setting for both intimate dinners and casual gatherings across age groups. Unlike staff in most restaurants around town, the staff at Chez were well trained, polite & exceptionally well mannered. They checked on us to ensure we felt at home & offered food recommendations which turned out to be very good. The negative Google reviews turned out to be fake. With its serene atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, the Chez Teapot stands as a testament to the ever-renewing spirit and timeless charm of Fort Kochi.

Excellent ambience and the food is very delicious. Both the western style baked stuff (cheesecake very yummy) and the rotating local specials are excellent and quite affordable!

I ended up visiting twice because of the cozy atmosphere – perfect for working or just relaxing. The service can be a bit slow, but the overall experience and price point make up for it. If you’re looking for a laid-back, budget-friendly cafe with character, this is the place to be.

We just had coffee here, which was decent. However, this place has a very cozy vibe, that attracted us.

Wow! Way a gorgeous little cafe hidden away in the side streets of Kochi. A proper hipster vibe. Somewhere I could get my work done without an issue. It got packed out as soon as I arrived so I got lucky. I’ve coffee is served with filtered water ice so no need to worry about getting an upset stomach.
