Chez Vincent

This place is fantastic. I stumbled upon it as I was exploring the Citadelle. One way up is the elevator from the port level. Then a short spiral staircase et Voila! Staff was super. They were kind about our lack of French language skills. Seated us alfresco on a beautiful night. The maitre d works really hard to accommodate all the guests. The gentleman at the cocktail bar was super cool. I had two Martinis. Superb. We had some scorpionfish ceviche, fish of the day (dorade) and Supreme de Poulet. Very savory and delicious. Finished off with a liqueur de myrte. Delicious! Go here! Great view of the port. Very lively, energetic and fun.

Based in the old Citadel of Bastia this restaurant overlooks the marina and ferry port. Great views and atmosphere. The food is very good in presentation, quality and portion size. Wines are all good value and very quaffable. Staff very helpful and friendly and speak English which is a bonus. All main courses tried by us over two visits and highly recommend all. Desserts are tasty too.

View of the seaside. Nice breeze. Attentive staffs. Delicious food. Pizza was great, soft dough. Burger was tasty but a bit salty. Beef Wellington was with perfect cooking.

Excellent ceviches and local cocktails. Definitevly worth the price 😍 If you reach the port, go into the jardin romieu, when you see the gallery go up and get ready for the view

Amazing view, tasty food but not so good service. The girl waitress looks like she's there as a punishment. Zero interest in the customer. You have to wait longer for the bill than for the food

Here’s the English translation: We have rarely eaten as poorly as we did today at Chez Vincent! We only went there because of the bad weather, since it’s close to the hotel. The first impression was already a bit sloppy, which is why we decided against ordering the carpaccio and just got a burger instead. It was so carelessly and poorly prepared that you couldn’t even tell what was between the burger buns. The sweet potatoes were mushy, and there was a small pile of dried-up salad with some kind of topping. Just awful! And all that for €24.50. For lunch, however, we had an excellent fish with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes - for the same price.

My husband and I have experienced one of the most pleasant eating experiences at this wonderful restaurant. The flavor profile of the food (we had fish and veal tartare), the presentation, the kindness of the staff (Camille and Sous chef Damian) combined with a wonderful evening view of the harbor made this a truly unforgettable experience. We will be back!!

Best meal we had in Corsica. The food was amazing, so as the view. Great restaurant at a reasonable price. The restroom is quite "interesting" though.
