Usually when someone uses the "Chez" in front of their restaurant's name it implies classy, elegant, full of taste, etc. It is none f those here, but the food was delicious and dang, the fries were good. They claim to have the best fries in the area. I don't know if they were the best in Bruges or Belgium, but they were good and better than most I have had in the USA. Not the best fries I ever had (more on that in a future review) but certainly in the top two. We are not beef eaters so we opted for chicken burgers. We ordered the Curry and Smoky (not realizing that meant barbecue sauce, until we ate them). We shared and were full thoroughly full enjoying both, with the Curry being the easy winner. The size of the small portion of fries was substantial and enough for two. Yes, they do charge for sauces but there is quite a range. We opted for the traditional ketchup and were not impressed as it had a very sweet taste compared to the American version of ketchup. You order at the counter (there is outside seating but it was a cold day, so inside it was). The ordering area is very cramped as well as the downstairs seating where we kind of felt like we were in a closet. Upstairs seating is more spacious. Food came quickly and the portions were impressive. The counter service was friendly and efficient with the menu board easy to follow. While they may not be a "Chez" restaurant the way the word connotes, they were "Chez" in taste and value
