We ate here twice in a row and nothing disappointed.
Menu full of home style island classics that are never too complicated or too simple, and balance rustic charm with skillful execution.
We had oxtail stew, curry coconut chicken, garlic shrimp, and creole snapper, and all were great. We find conch to be a bit dull, but on the second night we went with Yvette's Conch appetizer, which was a kind of spicy acidic ceviche, and it was truly special; I wouldn't sleep on the other conch dishes.
Incredibly welcoming and friendly service, it was a great way to spend our 2 night layover.
The Google maps location is wrong, it is closer to the main road, and on the right side of the street as you drive up. Other reviews have pictures of the front, which helps. I told the woman there on the first night that the gps was off and she smiled and said "sometimes good things are hard to find."
The definition of a hidden gem.
