(09/25) The best views of the Taj Mahal. Period. And on top of that, the best coffee and cappuccino (Lavazza!). It’s the tallest building in the Taj Ganj area, offering a full 360° view from the rooftop. When you enter, take the staircase immediately to the right. Be aware: the entrance is shared with Joey’s Place, and their staff may try to redirect you to their own rooftop café, Hippy Bar. The food here is delicious, and the service is excellent. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming—they even remembered us when we came back a second time! Don’t be discouraged by the occasional one-star reviews; many of those seem to come from local guests expecting five-star luxury service. The only downside is the price, which is definitely on the higher side. We paid ₹1,100 for one curry with rice, naan, and two drinks, and ₹460 on another day for a cappuccino, chai, and water. Still, for the best view of the Taj Mahal and the best coffee in town, it’s worth it.

An unforgettable experience! Service is quick and friendly, with dishes arriving in no time. The homemade croquettes are simply outstanding—crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth inside—and the fruit salad is a burst of freshness and flavor. The highlight, though, is the breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal from the terrace. Dining with this iconic monument in front of you is truly magical.

I do not recommend this restaurant due to the owner’s unprofessional behavior. When I asked to settle my bill, the staff informed me that I needed to wait for the owner. I waited quietly for over 10 minutes, even though there were no other customers on my floor. When the owner eventually came, I had already booked an Uber, which would take 10 minutes to arrive. He still showed no intention of processing the payment promptly. When there were only 3 minutes left before the Uber arrived, I politely requested to speed things up. Instead of responding reasonably, he gave me an angry look, displayed poor attitude, and complained that I had been sitting there for almost an hour, implying that I should not rush him.

Chia Taj View Café is truly one of the best spots in Agra! From here, you get a breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal, especially during sunrise and sunset it’s absolutely magical. You can also see a beautiful panoramic view of the whole city from the rooftop The service is just as wonderful as the view. Mr. Bobby and Mr. Sanjay were both incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. They made the experience even more enjoyable with their warm hospitality. Really nice Masala chai. The views are nice, we visited during the winter and there was a nice sun and breeze. The owner Ramesh was super nice and even took a picture of us.

This place is really great. They have an amazing latte (I ordered two the first was so good). I also got the Masala Omelette which was huge and fresh. They have an amazing rooftop, but also chairs inside if it is too hot. You can see the Taj Mahal from here. Highly recommend coming here when you’re in Agra
