Very tranquil and quiet spot in town. Convenient location, near to bike rental place, restaurants and shops. Super friendly owners really enjoyed chatting with them. The room was clean and beautifully designed. Light filled with a large sliding door to a small garden. Good hot shower and comfortable size bathroom. They provided towels, water bottles, and soap. The cons would be, there are a number of mosquitoes but that's normal with a garden. There's a mosquito net provided. The bed is a bit hard but I didn't mind it. There's no hairdryer. It would be useful to have one. Overall, I love this place and would 💯 come back.

Absolutely delightful! A hidden gem in Chiang Mai. A beautifully renovated traditional wooden house with lots of antiques in a quiet alleyway in the Old City. Actual boutique accommodation! Simple, it’s not five stars but for this price it’s wonderful! ||The owners/host are a lovely retired couple. I’d say it’s Suitable for solos or couples who like it quiet. Or families with kids over 10 or 11 who also like it quiet. It’s on a quiet alleyway behind one of Chiang Mai’s most sacred and famous temples. ||Location is ideal. Within old city walls and only 5-15 mins walk to everywhere you’d want to go in the old city. Its Only 6-7 mins walk to great outdoor evening food market with great suki and braised pork on rice. Make sure you get there for dinner! ||The bedroom is small but lovely. I was in room 1, beautiful garden outlook. Big windows. There’s only 4 rooms available. Don’t come if you want to party or socialise or want luxury. This is for those who want tranquility and simplicity among the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai! I loved it!

This guest house has been designed by an architect and you can tell immediately. Every little corner of this hotel has been taken care of and it is all beautifully decorated in the same style. Very peaceful after a day in busy Chiang Mai! |The owners are very sweet and always accommodating without pushing for their own services.

The house is lovely, very tastefully designed - definitely on the upmarket side. If yoy enjoy interior design, you will appreciate the owner's ideas and efforts: with the benefit of central urban location, each room has a feeling if a country side garden view. |The owners are genuinely friendly - an older couple, she bakes fresh break and cake every day, he brews real coffee. Once you've had a brownie here, it will never be the same for you :-) |

A friend and i stayed here for 3 nights in Feb. 2014. As long as we stepped into the room, it made us say WOW!! Room No.4 is so beautiful with a unique vintage design. It's just like your little home in Chiang Mai! We didn't spend much time in the room, but once i woke up in the morning, i did feel the sunshine. It made me feel peaceful and calm when i hear the birds singing.||The couple that runs Chiang Maan Residence are so lovely and willing to help. They showed us the way where we wanna go, and we had a nice chat before our leaving.||I'm so glad that i find this little place! If you come to Chiang Mai, you can miss it! :P

We came Chiang Mai last year and paid a visit to this residence. Unfortunately there was no vacant room that time but I fall in love with the wooden style room here. This time we came Chiang Mai again and I managed to book a night at Chiang Maan residence. As reviewed this place is abit hard to find, you have to look for Ritchapakinai Soi 1 (a small road). The old couple is lovely and helpful. it has everything you need - hot water shower, clean and tidy room, comfortable bed, and a peaceful place in the busy Chiang Mai town. ||If I come Chiang Mai next time, I will stay here again.

My husband and I spent holiday in Thailand in February of 2016. Chiang Maan Residence was by far one of the nicest accommodations. ||The owners were very sweet. They room was just my style. It was clean, peaceful, and quiet. I loved the location. Bike rentals near by. Chiang Mai is a great city. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone.

we stayed here for a weekend to visit the city. We selected this place because of its local architect and because of its location.||When we arrived, we were given the option of a room with king bed but no TV or a room with 2 beds with TV. Didn't really mind the TV so we took the king. The owners are very nice||All we need is a place that provides the local home feeling so this place certainly fullfilled that.||Didn't experience much of the mosquito problem. However, the shower is a bit small and the wifi signal is really weak.
