This vibrant market offers two distinct experiences depending on the time of day. In the evening, the market transforms into a welcoming hub for delicious Northern Thai street food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of local delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere with ample seating. The morning reveals a bustling fresh market, teeming with activity. Vendors offer a wide array of goods, from fresh meats and vegetables to ready-to-eat meals. The morning market is a lively scene, primarily frequented by locals, though it's becoming increasingly popular with tourists as well. With many English signs and friendly vendors, ordering is easy and enjoyable for everyone.

Nice place to get some great freshly cooked food at good prices. Drinks and deserts as well: smoothies, fresh fruits, pancakes and many other goodies :) All vendors are super nice and friendly

We stayed at nearby hotel and visited this market multiple at night as well as in the morning, absolutely love the local atmosphere. There are lots of tourists at night, plenty “clean and healthy” food with affordable prices. The morning market turned to be more of local, just as much func.

One of the best food night markets in Chiang Mai. Is a must visit if you go to the city. Must try young coconut, dumplings (best one!), mango sticky rice and coconut “cakes” (forgot the name but see picture below)

I had the pleasure of walking around this market with a great chef, and I can tell it was awesome. It has several areas(veggies/meat &fish , prepared / ready to eat) , but since most of the ready to eat is covered by other reviews I’m gonna highlight a few unusual treats you might have missed . First is a bamboo stick filled with sweet sticky rice and coconut milk (check the pictures on how to open it), costs 15 baths and it’s delicious. Second is a fermented tea leaf (you can add sweet syrup to balance the flavor) it’s sold by an charming lady that will be happy to give you a bite if you don’t want the whole banana leaf size. Absolutely amazing flavors (also in pictures). I have added the banana leaf filled with fermented porc. Lots of offals and meat for different Thai dishes , that come ready to be cooked if you want to be adventurous and try them !

Full of food and drinks stalls lining both sides of the street, with the moat on one side. Food is cheap and delicious. However, do be careful when choosing your food and watch the level of hygiene. There are tell tale signs. Bon appetit.

Perfect spot to get a nice souvenir and get something to eat, relax and walk around. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to get a full Thai experience. 🤗❤️

Lively street food market (besides the permanent installed market inside), we usually come for the night. Morning I think 5am also has market there. One of the best deal smoothie (20baht singular fruit or 30 mix), a popular Thai stir-fry food truck, and one of the not-good pork feet rice truck. Wonder if I’ve already been here 6 years ago.
