This vibrant market offers two distinct experiences depending on the time of day. In the evening, the market transforms into a welcoming hub for delicious Northern Thai street food. Visitors can enjoy a variety of local delicacies in a relaxed atmosphere with ample seating. The morning reveals a bustling fresh market, teeming with activity. Vendors offer a wide array of goods, from fresh meats and vegetables to ready-to-eat meals. The morning market is a lively scene, primarily frequented by locals, though it's becoming increasingly popular with tourists as well. With many English signs and friendly vendors, ordering is easy and enjoyable for everyone.

You can find basically anything for your kitchen need here. In the morning, fresh market with veggies, fruits, meats, housewares, and soo many food stalls upfront. So many choices of ready to eat food, from sweet snacks to prepped meals, fried food, rice, and many more... Quite busy in the morning.

Quintessential Thai Market experience. Make sure you get the fresh pig skins have mercy! You get to pick which ones you want and she just keeps making the fresh! They are in the Gold packaging if you miss the rush for the fresh ones. Market has everything you could want or need for day to day life.

Awesome selection of street food - everything from fresh fruit and juices to sushi and wonton noodle soup. We had four soups and this cost less than $10 AUD but was so flavourful and filling. We were very happy!

We loved this night market! The BBQ meats and broccoli were delicious and tasted a little different at each place! This is less overwhelming then the bigger markets and is a great place to try some street food! Most things are between 5-50 baht depending on if you are just trying things or getting a meal! Lots of locals were shopping here too for dinner!

Well what an experience and a joy! The food was amazing , pad Thai the best we’ve had so far . Love the people, the service and the atmosphere. Felt safe. The pad Thai cost 50 baht about £1.

Food market with at least 20 food stalls where everyone can find something for them selves. Unless you're a vegan :-( Most of the stalls offers traditional Thai food, but you can find also some western food like burger or burrito. If you have a feeling for a sweet tooth there is stall with crepes with Nutella or fruits. Also fresh fruits. On my first visit I've found 1 stall with some vegan options which was stir fried noodles with Thai basil and tofu - pretty good, just too oily for my test. On my second visit, the mentioned stall was gone, so apparently the food stalls are changing. And I was struggling to find anything vegan. In one place lady agree to make vegetarian pad thai without an egg to have vegan version. Although it was the worst pad thai in my life. Lack of taste, overdone rice noodles, literally few bean sprouts. Basically a place for meat lovers.

Every available space is put to good use in the city centers of Thailand and the market concept has proven to be a definite hit. The Chiang Mia Gate Market is another great visit with all the necessary. A huge variety of good food freshly prepared to meet a wide variety of taste and preferences. Live music and other entertainment is also often on offer. As with most of the markets, there is a wide selection of clothing and other accessories at affordable prices. The general atmosphere is welcoming and a great natural experience. The warmth and hospitality of the locals and traders are special. The markets are a must visit in every place.
