My husband and I came here for lunch and this was our very first time at the Liberty Village location. I’ve ordered from the Parklawn location and both locations were wonderful. I wanted to take the time to express that Chiang Mai is a decent Thai restaurant. Our server, Kevin, made it even more special. He was friendly, attentive, and we had a delightful and really funny conversation which made it memorable. We will for sure be coming back again. I wanted to personally thank you Kevin and the staff on hand (yesterday) for looking after us. Kevin’s friendly and authentic personality was a wonderful surprise to our first experience here. Furthermore, the food, drinks, and presentation of it all made it worth the trip. We came from Vaughan and honestly, I highly recommend this place either you want to dine-in or take-out. I’m a new big fan of Chiang Mai. We ordered the following: - Famous Pad Thai (Chicken) - Shrimp Pad Ki Maw - Tiger Beer - Sticky Rice Cocktail (tastes similar to a Pina Colada, very super yummy and they didn’t cheap out on the alcohol) - Calamari - Tom Kha (Coconut Soup) Everything hit the spot. I honestly give it 10/10 for food, and 12/10 for service. 🙌🙌🙌🙌 Thank you Kevin, and all your colleagues for a memorable experience. As well, thank you to the chefs and kitchen staff who prepared our lovely dishes. We hope to see you soon! Best, Linh and Anthony

Came here for a casual birthday dinner with my two friends. Service was bar-none, huge shoutout to Tao for her warm welcome, friendliness, and effienciency throughout the whole night. We ordered the spring rolls and calamari for appetizers, two of us had the pad see ew for mains, and a pineapple fried rice for our third friend. All meals were well-seasoned and were of decent portion. I've been to other Chiang Mai locations but would specifically come back to this one just because of this stellar experience.

We had the most amazing experience at Chiang Mai in Liberty Village while celebrating my fiancé’s birthday! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Tim, our host, who made us feel right at home. His friendly and professional demeanor set the tone for a great evening. Lana, our server, was absolutely fantastic — attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful with the menu. She made sure everything came out perfectly and added such a personal touch to the night. A huge shoutout to Manager Macky, who went above and beyond to make the celebration truly special. The service, the ambiance, and the attention to detail were top-notch. The food? Authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented — a perfect balance of Thai spices and comfort. Thank you so much to the whole Ching Mai team for giving us a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Google
Chiang Mai is one of my go to spots for Thai food! The dishes are tasty, especially the beef pad see ew and the wagyu dumplings! The restaurant is also so aesthetic and a great vibe for meals with friends. I did feel that the portions were slightly smaller though compared to the other Chiang Mai locations, which was a bit disappointing. But the taste and service is all there!

Google
It was my first time trying this Thai restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere felt classy and refined. The staff were attentive and friendly — especially when they found out I had a shrimp allergy. They took the time to double-check every dish and made sure everything was safe for me. The manager was also incredibly sweet and thoughtful, which made the experience even better. Unfortunately, we came during a time when construction was happening upstairs, so it was a bit noisy and hard to have a proper conversation. But the amazing food and warm service more than made up for it. Definitely a place I’d love to return to.

I had dinner at Chiang Mai for the first time and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food really blew me away—every dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The chicken satay was exceptionally tender and paired perfectly with the creamy peanut sauce, while the beef massaman stood out for its rich, comforting curry. I also have to mention their Pink Panther summer drink—it was so refreshing and is definitely a must-try! The restaurant’s ambiance also deserves a mention; it felt cozy and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and efficient. Special thanks to Tao, our amazing server, who was both friendly and made sure our orders were accurate. Nina and Macky also went out of their way to check in on us and make sure we were completely satisfied, which really made the experience memorable. Overall, I had an amazing time at Chiang Mai—this place is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes!

Google
Very good Thai restaurant that has great portion sizes! We ordered the Calamari, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Khao Soi. All very delicious and definitely had enough for leftovers. Our waiter also recommended the Lychee Rose Sangria to us that was on special for $13. It was a nice, refreshing drink and we ended up ordering two more.

Google
Went here for dinner after hearing from friends and family that it’s one of their favorite Thai spots. Overall, the food was great, but I found the Pad Thai a bit overly salted. With less salt, it would’ve been perfect. I did really appreciate how transparent the servers were about allergens (though understandably, they can’t guarantee against cross-contamination). You also really can’t go wrong with the Khao Soi and mango salad either. Definitely worth a try!

Yelp
Enjoyed all the food! Service and interior were good. No complaints and would return!

Yelp
Such the perfect intimate spot to grab food or drinks. I made reservations but def not needed for the daytime. The eatery is situated perfectly in the Liberty Village plaza with plenty of activities to do pre or post meal. My server was amazing, the food was out of this world delicious and the price point was affordable. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience. Traveling & finding such a gem was a the best gift a foodie could ask for.

Yelp
Had a work dinner at this place. Food is overall very yummy. Definitely great ambiance with nice seating area. They served the food at the right pace. The dishes are of good portion and I already felt pretty full before my entry. We ended with the sticky rice dessert to share and it's surprisingly very good!

Yelp
Stumbled upon Chiang Mai during a visit in the city. Chicken Pad Thai (4/5) was good. It was definitely more on the sweeter side than I'd prefer but the dish was flavourful. Mango Sticky Rice (5/5) was delicious. You can never go wrong with ordering this dessert. The coconut cream pairs well with the sweetness of the mangoes. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The place had a nice open layout.

Yelp
Fun vibe and decor. Great service and delicious food. Would recommend the pad see ew and pineapple fried rice.

Yelp
One of my favourite restaurants in the city. It's always my go to whether for dine in or take out because the quality of the food never misses! I particularly love their pineapple fried rice but everything from their curries, tom yum soup, pad thai, pad see ew is honestly a hit. Every time I have visited, their service is great. The liberty location is spacious and their decor adds to the Thai dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this spot as it will not disappoint!

Yelp
Dishes are executed very well, I would suggest to take the recommendation dishes. The two in the photos are must orders. The place is halal, which is an amazing choice to bring Muslim friends. The restaurant itself is in liberty village, very modern renovations and a small patio. Ice cream shop and coffee shops in the same area. You can park at metro near by.

Abby K.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal. We all had various curries, but the calamari was some of the best I've had in awhile. Also pay the surcharge to upgrade your rice to the coconut one. The coconut soup was also fantastic.
google avatar

Vivian S.

Yelp
Staff was great, friendly knowledgeable. Seating area seems smaller thankbthe Park Lawn location butbthetr are numerous places to park if you are driving in. Sweet potato fritter seems to be served in a different format than othe blocations and was not as crispy but flavour still good. Chicken satays were a hit. Massaman curry with very tender beef, was easily customizable for heat level which was a table favourite, along with upgraded coconut rice, paratha with side of peanut sauve and flat noodles with chicken. Great vibe, really tasty bites.

Yelp
4.5/5 - We came here on Labour Day evening and were seated immediately as I had a reservation. We first shared the calamari as a tasty appetizer and it came with sweet chili sauce and spicy mayo which both complimented it very well. I got the spicy pad see ew and it wasn't that spicy so I asked the server to bring us some more chili flakes which gave the dish more of a kick and made it even spicier. I found that the pad see ew was more salty than other thai restaurants I've had and I think I prefer less soy sauce. My partner got the spicy pad kee mao and I loved the basil leaves and that extra layer of flavour it added to the dish. We both got a cocktail each and we liked the mango coconut rice one more than the lychee one. Service was fast and nice! The store decor is beautiful.

Yelp
Good as a place to eat before attending a concert at Budweiser Stage. Recommended for its location and energetic atmosphere. Drinks (Thai beer!) and food were okay, but the latter appears to have been modified to accommodate the Toronto clientele. Flavour profiles and spice levels are turned down.
google avatar

Song P.

Yelp
Good decent Thai food that just hit the spot in a trendy and cool setting. I love that they use the wide noodles for Pad Kee Mao. The food presentation was top notch as well. Their beverage selection is also worth checking out with a lot of creative cocktails and mocktails. I got the medium spicy level because the waitress told me the hot level would be Thai spicy. Would disagree on this one as the medium spicy level is still quite mild. Just something to keep in mind if you like your Thai food spicy like how it's supposed to be. Otherwise, great food, great service and atmosphere. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

Yelp
brought two friends here. ordered masamun curry, padthai, muslim noodle , and 2 special gyoza (lemon grass and khao soi style). friendly and attentive service. nice ambience. food is big portion.it's more on the sweet side. overall food is good. best is the gyoza though!! very unique tasty flavor combination! especially the lemon grass. should have just kept eating the gyoza instead of ordering the main course. lol.

Yelp
Seeing all the positive reviews, I really wanted to like Chang Mai and was excited to finally try it out. Located in Liberty Village, it is a busy spot and we found it was crowded on a cold Friday night. We had just missed the happy hour and as we didn't have a reservation, we had to wait. We ended up sitting at the bar. But the wait didn't stop there. After ordering appetizers and mains, it took awhile for our food to arrive. Our mains came separately, awhile after one another. Understood it was a busy hour with some big groups having birthday dinners but seems the orders must have been backed up in the kitchen. Anyway, we ordered the shrimp spring roll and calamari for appetizers. I ordered the pad thai. These were decent, nothing much to write about. I was appreciative of the fact that the server asked about allergies and I did mention my pineapple allergy, so they made sure to communicate what's in each dish to avoid risk of an allergic reaction. This spot is situated far from where I usually lay about. Given the average experience I had with the food and the long wait time, I don't think I would go out of my way to visit again, unfortunately.

Yelp
Excellent ambience, very well decorated restaurant. Delicious food at a very reasonable price, with big portions. The mango sticky rice was a delicious dessert! Great service, they don't forget to refill your water. Also, they play nice 2000s-2010s throwback music.

Yelp
This location is super cute! It's very small and intimate, but the decorations make it feel really fancy. The staff were all very nice, and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Toronto area looking for some good Thai- I know there are other locations too, and would love to try another!

Yelp
I enjoyed the food here a lot. I came here with 4 other friends. You have to come with a group of people in order to share the dishes which I was very glad I did. We ordered several dishes to share: 1)Spring Roll 2)Thai Shrimp roll 3)Chicken Satay 4)Chicken Wings 5)Chicken Tom Yum 6)Islamic Shrimp Noodle 7)Penang Curry 8)Malay Curry Every dish was very delicious and cooked properly. No complain. Service was great. I am not able to have spicy food and the server tried her best to accommodate. The decor was pretty nice inside. they are located in Liberty Village. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Been here twice already, one of the times celebrating my birthday! Service was amazing! They were so attentive and kind. The vibes of the restaurant and aesthetics are really nice. The food was very delicious and I will definitely be back again.

Yelp
There a couple Chiang Mai locations out there and I was excited to finally have an excuse to try it. This one is located right off of East Liberty on the side of one of the buildings. I was able to make a reservation easily from Google Maps. When I had to make a change to my party size, I was able to give them a call to get it adjusted and received a confirmation text immediately. I suspect that they normally have a mega wait. They have a vestibule at the entryway which I never see at Toronto restaurants. I saw them a lot in New York to shelter the line from the cold. Pretty thoughtful for them to have! The inside is really modern and seems like a great spot for for a date. All of the employees from the hosts to the servers were really friendly and greeted us as we came in, even if they weren't the ones that were directly working with us. I had the Khao Soi noodles that came out like a piece of art! There was a huge obelisk of fried noodles that were stood upright in the middle of the dish. I broke them apart so I could them soaking in the broth - not sure what the proper way to eat it was. The broth is so stinking good that I could drink it as a soup. There was a lot of chicken and noodles which were amazing but I barely made a dent in my meal since the portion was pretty big!

Yelp
My husband and I came here after our engagement photoshoot at high park, and then again after our wedding. What better way to celebrate milestone events than with amazing and authentic Thai food? This place is my absolute favourite when it comes to Thai, although I wish it was closer to where I live. We've tried the calamari appetizer (great portions - totally worth it), and the Khao Soi. Those fish is just... perfect! I mean just look at it, it's a work of art! The curry soup base is creamy, fragrant and flavourful. There's also a slight tangy citrus flavour that is unique and so refreshing! The inside is trendy but authentic to its Thai roots and the staff are always friendly. The perfect place for a night out!

Yelp
Food was absolutely amazing! Great portions sizes full of an abundance of flavors. The location was easy to find, nice and quiet throughout, and our waitress was super friendly! Highly recommend the calamari and pad see ewe

Yelp
Extra star for accommodating a walk-in request on a Friday night that saved our night out on the town! We had an unsuccessful dining event nearby and called it quits early to find somewhere else to feed us. The Chiang Mai staff was so helpful, pulling up an extra bar stool to seat us inside. The bar seats are fantastic, as it gives a lovely 360 view of the whole restaurant giving off 1920 night lounge vibes and you get to watch the bartender whip up interesting drinks all night. We started with the Thai shrimp rolls, which were full pieces of shrimp straightened, wrapped in spring roll paper and fried. It is served with a chili sauce and a bit of salad. A very good start to our meal. I had the Khao Soi which was absolutely delicious. Great creamy flavors with plenty of chicken, veggies and noodles. The presentation was also amazing, with the crispy noodles sticking straight out of the dish. Generous portions, so I had enough for a light lunch the next day. Definitely would recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious food and you can't believe the free delivery over $30. I had it delivered to my hotel and it was quick and easy. The red curry, mango sticky rice, and coconut jasmine rice were delicious. Absolutely recommend!
google avatar

Zeynep K.

Yelp
Long story short: Delicious, large portions and beautiful presentation. Great spot for Thai eats! Long story long: This is my go-to for quick Thai delivery and I recently sat down in person to see what it was like kitchen to table. The decor was lovely, the place is clean, and the service was kind and attentive. For two people, we ordered: Thai fresh rolls, Thai mango salad (a favourite!), Famous pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. They were all delicious, fresh, flavourful, as well as decently portioned - we definitely had to take some to go. It was well worth the price! At home, I have ordered the sweet potato fritter starter, too and which is also tasty (I only recommend this dish fresh and not on day 2!). I imagine it's better in person, but we didn't add it this time around. Overall, a great spot for Thai food! It's got it all: good food, service and ambiance.
google avatar

Ann R.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Service is great. We came here for lunch to celebrate a friends birthday. We started with the sweet potatoes fritters and Thai shrimp rolls. Portions are good and everything was delicious. I ordered the Islamic noodles with chicken. Delish! Spice level was good, flavourful and fresh. I couldn't stop eating it! Overall. Everything was amazing. The food in delicious and I hope to be back soon to try other dishes!

Yelp
Enjoyable evening at Chiang Mai, Liberty Village location. We ordered a number of food items such as basil fried rice, sweet potato frites, fried fish, chilli chicken with steam rice, pineapple fried rice, and much more. The food serving size were appropriate - plentiful! The plating of dish items were like works of art! I don't have a high spice threshold anymore and the staff accommodated my request - still ordered the chilli chicken with steamed rice! Service was fantastic - Felix took care of us and was friendly and helpful! The decor was nice, beautiful photo portraits of the Thai royal family, lots of emerald ...would have expected some More yellow. I highly recommend visiting this place! It can be a little hard to find as it's off of the main road.

Yelp
Came here for some apps while waiting for a table elsewhere, but now I wish we had made this our main restaurant of the night! Started off with chicken satay skewers and lemongrass soup, followed by chicken pad Thai. Food: Chicken Satay 4/5 - Nice flavourful chicken with the best peanut sauce to compliment the meat Tom Yum (lemongrass soup) 5/5 - I am not kidding when I say I can drink a full bowl and more of this. The flavours were amazing and the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, sour - just as a Tom yum soup should be! Chicken Pad Thai 5/5 - The star of the show had to be this pad Thai. It had the perfect sauce balance to noodles and with every bite it made me wanting more. Portion was also very generous here! Please get this and try it for yourself! Overall experience was amazing. The restaurant is nicely renovated with beautiful Thai decor/ vibes. But the star of the show is definitely the delicious food that it comes with! Will be coming back for more. I'm drooling thinking of that pad Thai already!

Yelp
Definitely worth the hype! I have been wanting to try them for the longest time. I see their fancy pics everywhere and yesterday was the day we decided to.( I tried it about 2 weeks back and started to write the review then-hence said yesterday lol I'll let it stay I ended up finishing writing the review just now) We ordered The Tom Yum Pad Thai with beef and the basil chicken mince. Both tasted fantastic and fresh. Flavor was really really good but I wouldn't say it was mind blowing-I have had better Thai food in Toronto. The portions are medium size. The beef in the pad Thai was a bit chewy rather than soft which was a bit of a bummer. My daughter isn't much into seafood hence chose beef-next time would definitely go with a seafood option. The restaurant is in the liberty village and has a super nice vibe to it. The staff ifs very attentive and friendly. The staff kept checking on us. Overall experience was great. I would definitely come back to try their lobster pad Thai and a few other entrees. The interior is really nice and pricing is just about right-very standard to all the thai restaurants in Toronto.

Yelp
Great food, very friendly staff, and a nice patio! Will definitely be back soon. Prices are all reasonable as well!

Yelp
It's been awhile since I dined at Chiang Mai but I still remember the great service (despite it being quite busy) and amazing food. It's definitely worth another visit the next time I'm in the area.
google avatar

Rea H.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere, good for big groups. The food was amazing too, I got the green curry and the portion sizes were huge. I also got the Thai iced tea and it was so yum. The service was so kind and attending. They checked on us very often to make sure everything was okay. A little loud so it's hard to hear people talking, but overall a great ear.
google avatar

Sally L.

Yelp
Service was great. Reasonable price. Everything was so flavourful. Vegetarian friendly. I recommend getting the chilli oil , it was so good I purchased a jar home. This place never disappoints!

Suzanne G.

Yelp
I just went to their newest location on York Mills and the restaurant is amazing!! We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night but they were so nice that they found a table to accommodate us. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel special. I came in on crutches and they all worked to make it an easy experience for me. We had spring rolls, Pad Thai, & Guy Yaang. Everything we had was better than we were expecting it to be. The waiter was very attentive and we also had a visit from the manager to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this location as they are doing everything right!!
google avatar

Hasnain J.

Yelp
I have been to this restaurant many times and I have never been disappointed. I normally order Green Mango salad and Chicken Satay for appetizers followed by Beef Malay and their famous
google avatar

Lucia L.

Yelp
This place is really busy so make sure you come early or call them to book a reservation. I came because a friend told me he liked it better than Pai so I had to pull up and decide for myself. Unfortunately I was disappointed as it was pretty mediocre. The papaya salad didn't have much flavour and the green beans were borderline raw so they were hard to chew. My pad Thai didn't have much flavour either. I need some wok hei please. My friend really enjoyed his khao soi though. I can't compare to Pai's but it was the best dish of the night. The presentation of all the dishes were very beautiful so that was nice! They have a small patio section of about four tables which is nice on a summer day. The service was very quick and prompt.
google avatar

Harshini R.

Yelp
Solid Thai food. We got the chicken Basil stir fry and pineapple fried rice. I wish the pineapple fried rice was a little more flavorful. Service was great as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender who also served us was very sweet and thoughtful. The cocktails they were making also looked really good. My one gripe is that the manager ended up breaking my jacket as she walked by and accidentally tugged a string on it. But she just kept walking and didn't even apologize.
google avatar

Yelp
I really hate to write a bad review about anything, but what a terrible overall experience this past Saturday evening. I've been ordering from Chiang Mai Parklawn pretty much since it opened. It had always been consistently good. Then this past Saturday it all changed. I go to pick up my food around 8:30pm. I arrived and I notice the restaurant is full and there are lots of food pickups happening as well. I'm glad to see the business is clearly doing very well. I pick up my bag, which is stapled shut, and specifically confirm with the girl at the desk that all the sauces are inside along with chopsticks, napkins etc. I get home, we start to unpack.....no chopsticks or utensils at all, no sauces. Most notably it's missing the dipping sauce for the fresh rolls. Without this sauce, you're eating some raw lettuce wrapped in flavourless rice rubber. I decide to call the restaurant and the girl who answers refuses to send a driver over with the missing sauces and utensils and basically offers a refund for the value of the sauce. (note that I'm too far away for it to make sense to drive all the way there and back home again) I tell her this is not acceptable and she basically tells me that's all they're responsible for and we should accept it because they're busy. I couldn't believe the rudeness of this person. I ask her name and to speak to her manager and she refuses to give her name. I just hang up at that point. We settle down to eat and the Tom Kha soup is so overly sweet it tastes like a can of evaporated milk with pieces of shoe leather thrown in. The green curry and ginger beef taste pretty good but everything is overly cold. It's likely the last time we'll ever eat at this place. If you're making mistakes because you're overly busy then it means you're making money and should be prepared to compensate your guests for your mistakes. All it would have taken to make me happy was a sincere apology and maybe a $10 off coupon for the next visit. Instead this girl starts to lecture me on why all I deserve is a refund of the value of a sauce.

Yelp
I love the presentation of the food there & one of the Thai waitress is really welcoming and friendly!

Yelp
Delicious Thai food in liberty village. We decided to try out Chiang Mai after reading so many good reviews. The restaurant itself isn't too big, so definitely make a reservation if you can. We arrived around 6:30pm on a Saturday night and didn't have a reservation. However we got seated immediately outside, which we didn't mind since we were so hungry. Pineapple Fried Rice - very flavourful and delicious. This was probably our favourite dish of the night. There's a lot of flavours going on here, but it all matches so well. 4.5/5 Chicken Pad Thai - nothing to special about it, just your typical pad thai. 3.5/5 Thai Shrimp Rolls - 4/5 Thai Iced Tea - 5/5 very refreshing! Overall, we enjoyed our dinner, but felt that the portions could've been a little bigger considering the price.

Yelp
Chiang Mai is a very well run, modern, trendy Thai restaurant. The place offers standard Thai fare, food is pretty good, decorated with lots of fresh fruits. A very good choice for a casual date or hang out restaurant.

Yelp
Loved it! Such a unique restaurant. We chose to eat here for dinner on our 1 day trip to Toronto, from New York. The food was all nice and flavorful, nice crunchy vegetables. But the presentation was amazing! Everything was bright and colorful, and you can tell the chefs took extra care when plating. Super instGrammable. I didn't take pictures of all of our drinks, but they were very pretty, and all came in different glasses. A few of the drinks have flavors I had never tasted before, so that was interesting. Also... the service was great! A little on the slow side, but we were sitting at the bar. Everone was very friendly. The restaurant itself was small, but soo cute. The vibe was great. Reservations highly recommended!!!

Yelp
I don't make it downtown much these days but when I do, I like to explore restaurants and it doesn't get much better than Chiang Mai! Everything was as perfect as can be, making it a great evening! Read on... I Love Thai food and I've been to some of the best Thai restaurants in the city and even met a couple of the chefs and owners. Chiang Mai is definitely one of the best! Their flavours, presentation, service, and ambiance are all top notch! Our order was fairly simple. We started with Thai Calamari and Spring Rolls. Both were simply delicious! This was a good start! Next, we had the Famous Pad Thai with Tofu, Khao Soi with Chicken, Famous Pad Thai with Lobster, and Pad Thai with Chicken. All were outstanding - presentation and flavours! It was also generous portions, resulting in takeout containers. The Khao Soi was my favourite of the evening. It was absolutely delicious but the presentation, with the crispy noodles towering above the dish, was very attractive! Despite the noodles, I would have loved some rice to sop up the delicious curry sauce! To finish the meal, the Mango Sticky Rice and Raspberry Greek Yogurt Cheesecake hit all the right spots. Both were delicious! The ambiance, food presentation, food taste, decor, and service were all outstanding! We saw lots of beautiful looking dishes leaving the kitchen and everything looked so yummy. On top of the great food, our server, Kin, was excellent throughout the evening. He was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating, while remaining professional. Bravo! I rarely give five star ratings, reserving it for restaurants that offer great food, great ambiance, great service, and more. This place definitely deserves it! We'll definitely have to come back!

Yelp
We stopped by for dinner and chose this restaurant because they have a patio and because they had a 5-star review. I came with really high expectations knowing everyone gave them 5-stars. The Service: Our waitresses service was fantastic! She was very attentive and continued to bring us hot water throughout our meal. We were sipping hot water because they ran out of herbal tea. The hostess can improve her customer service. When I asked her where the washroom was, she questioned whether I was eating at the restaurant. My waitress saw me ask the hostess where the washroom was and immediately said she would show me. When this interaction happened, the hostess said, "Oh, you're sitting on the patio?" Perhaps her customer service could be improved or she could glance at the patio once in a while to see what the 4 customers outside look like. I was all bundled up because we were trying to stay warm out there. She should have been more friendly. The Food: We ordered two dishes to share. The dishes were good but they didn't blow me away like the reviews made me think I would be. Ginger Stir Fry with Chicken: - The Ginger stir fry chicken was my favourite dish out of the two we ordered. It had a really good flavour and you could really taste the ginger. The chicken was good and I really liked the mushrooms in the dish. This dish is served with tons of meat and very little vegetables. I think there were 3 little pieces of broccoli in the entire dish. This is good if you are craving lots of protein. Mix Vegetable Stir Fry with Shrimp & Beef: - This dish was also very protein heavy. It had tons of beef and 4 shrimp. It didn't come with too much vegetables but we enjoyed it. It was good but a bit too oily/saucy for my sensitive stomach. The Ambiance: The patio was very simple and cute. If you are ordering dishes to share, I definitely recommend you get two tables together because it was very crowded with our two dishes, teapot, teacups and serving plates. Eventually the waitress added another table to our single table, which made the dining experience much easier. The washrooms were not too presentable. Would we go back? It is not likely. We have a Thai restaurant we prefer over this restaurant.

Yelp
Went here on a Saturday night and had a great meal. Our table ordered the Sweet Potato Fritter and Crispy Chicken apps. Both were good and came with a nice small salad. I ordered the curry pad Thai which was nice. Also tried the Khao Soi which was rich and flavourful but I wish it was spicy. Seemed like the dishes overall were not very spicy so perhaps you can ask them to spice it up if you are into a bit of heat like I am. The service was very attentive. The interior is really cool with a nice mix of modernity and character. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Ambiance: Great place to visit, they have very large booths, nice mood lighting & authentic Art Pieces. They also have high table top seating near the bar. Great for date night or even night out with family. Food: my goodness everything was so delicious. Paneng Curry is my absolute favorite. There is so much flavour and I really enjoy how they arent cheap with the curry like other places. There is ample amount of gravy and chicken. Tom Yum noodles- have a nutty flavour, also very delicious full of different herbs Chicken Satay- served with peanut sauce. Comes with 4 skewers. Cooked to perfection. Dulce De Leche Cheesecake- tasty very decadent. Service: very kind staff. Everything arrived in a timely manner.

Yelp
Great place to grab a quick bite. Prices are reasonable, good atmosphere, young hip crowd. I enjoyed a lot the lychee and Prosecco cocktail and the rice and mango dessert.

Yelp
Chose to go out with some friends to Chiang Mai after hearing that it is halal and it definitely did not disappoint. From the entrance, it definitely felt like a luxury experience. The decor is beautiful and gives a great traditional Thai meets western contemporary vibe and the food has the same effect. We ordered the Tom yum and chicken satay for starters and it was delicious. The Tom yum had just the right amount of spice whilst the chicken satay was perfectly cooked and matched with a silky peanut sauce. For the mains we ordered the Khao Soi and Pineapple fried rice. The main thing to note is that the portion sizes were HUGE! Definitely value for your buck. The Khao Soi had a tower of crispy noodles leading into a light and fragrances curry sauce, couldn't have asked for better. Although the stand out of the show was definitely the Pineapple fried rice , served in... You guessed it. A pineapple! Whilst it wasnt overpowering, the flavours complimented each other well and we were left very content with no room for dessert. Definitely will be coming back here again!

Yelp
The food was excellent. We got seated quickly and when my daughter's food was too spicy they offered to remake it.

Yelp
First time here after reading all the amazing reviews have posted! There was two of us and i will for sure say we ordered too much food but it called for leftovers we started with the deepfried tofu and calamari - the calamari was great, i personally didn't like the favour and texture of the tofu. I wanted to try it to say i did but couldn't eat more than one stick. I had the pad sew for dinner and my friend had the other dish. my food was so good, there were no leftovers! I really enjoyed the flavours - shrimp was my protein and i got it medium. As an east indian decent female, i usually don't eat spicy food but felt the medium was a bit mild for me. We also shared a bottle of white ontario wine! only reason this didn't get a 5 star is because we were seated by the door and the draft was so cold due to it opening constantly for uber eats etc that it took away from the dine in experience.
