After two long stays can say, Generally good "value for money", convenient location and spacious rooms at an affordable rate. Has its pros and cons obviously. Pros: The location is central but quiet and peaceful. The rooms are great, good size for the price - I have stayed in both Standard and Deluxe (corner room). Furniture is rustic, country style, old school but durable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bonus: Try the Taiwanese restaurant on the ground floor, it feels quite authentic and the food is good. For breakfast, try Santitham Breakfast within a 5-6 minutes walk. The downsides are mainly in the IT and the appliances. The WiFi login system is quite antiquated, it needs to be replaced. My aircon and the remotes frequently didn't talk to each other. Daily rates are generally very reasonable for the location/season. Monthly rate seemed attractive at first, but after adding in the utilities, probably won't be saving much, especially in the hotter months. Electricity bill can easily be 1000-1500 THB.

The worst hotel and biggest scam, they refuse to pay me back my deposit because they threw away the receipt. Very unorganized hotel. They also do not provide early check out if you need to leave before 10am. I will be filing a complaint with Agoda.

This place has options for staying. The daily rate and the monthly rate. There are many people who stay for a month or two. This place has a great location and there are so many great restaurants within a ten minute walk. There is a decent resto practically attached to the hotel car park and also a motorbike rental shop at the lodge. The rooms are very competitively priced and are very clean with daily housekeeping in the daily rate rooms. The rooms are a bit spartan but they have a large bed, aircon, television and hot water. Not much to complain about here. They also have relatively secure motorbike parking with overnight security and controlled access after hours. The Taiwan/Thai restuArant is also a bonus!

Basic, but clean rooms with unbeatable price/location ratio. Some of the best places to eat in CM are all within 50 meters (Salsa kitchen or Khao Soi Maesai, but also plenty of other good restaurants very nearby...). I've stayed here several times for many months in the last 7 years, and I will always come back. There are more modern places, but this one has its charm.

I stayed there for 6 months. It happened to me 2 times during the 6 months that the front desk told me that someone else had reserved my room and that I had to move to another room by the next day! I was given less than 24 hours notice both times and because I was not there short term I had many personal belongings to move. The first time it happened I thought that someone had made a mistake and that they forgot to tell me. When it happened a second time it was obvious to me that this was the way they treated their guests and they saw nothing wrong with it. I should have refused to move until the end of the month. They could have at the very least offered to help me move my belongings. I guess I could have asked for help (the staff would have probably asked for a tip). I do not truth their judgement and I will not be back. If you want to sit down and read make sure you get a room with a table/the proper furniture. The smaller rooms had a chair and drawer that seemed to also be what they thought of as a desk (it was very uncomfortable to sit at). I bought my own desk. On a positive note: Is is probably okay for short term stays. The building is fairly new and modern, the location is very convenient and I would say that you get good value for the price.

Soon after booking thru Agoda, received a friendly message that they had set aside my requested room: queen-size bed, no smoking. Arrived around 11 pm so security guard had to get manager, who lives on site, to provide key. Wouldn't hurt to give them a heads-up if you are arriving at an odd hour. Standard room facing field behind hotel was quiet enough. Room safe, internet, fridge, A/C ..all worked ok. English speaking staff helpful and somewhat friendly. The fitness room is very basic ... stationary bike tensioner didn't work so gave up. Didn't try treadmill or Soviet-era universal weight machine. Good location ...short walk to Kad Suan Kaew shopping mall on the main drag as well as restaurants, motorcycle rental, internet cafe. The other direction, further into soi are a few cafes, restaurants and laundry. Paid 650 baht on Agoda then extended at the front desk for the same price. Let me check-out late at 1pm. Would stay there again.

While the rooms in this lodge are adequate, the service is horrible. The first time my laundry was collected, the manager made me come downstairs to show me the dirt on my dirty towels and said I had to pay for them. (The dirt was from wiping sweat off my arms.) This was before the towels were even washed. The next week, the maid did the same thing. ||||The manager was then blatantly rude to me the entire month I stayed here. I only stayed so long because that was the only way to get money back.||||I had to ask for the floor to be washed when I first arrived. It was so dusty it was making tracks. Then I had to finish washing it when they were done, as they didn't go under furniture or around wastebaskets.||||The wifi is HORRIBLE. You have to log in literally every thirty minutes, and most evenings the wifi goes down altogether.||||It is super noisy, even late at night, with motorcycles, planes flying overhead, and people in the streets yelling.||||STAY ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

Good value for the price. Rooms are nice and well maintained, coin laundry in the building, elevator, nice outdoor lobby area. The location is good, just outside the old city and also close to Nimman. The small gym on the top floor is pretty much unusable.
