After two long stays can say, Generally good "value for money", convenient location and spacious rooms at an affordable rate. Has its pros and cons obviously.
Pros: The location is central but quiet and peaceful. The rooms are great, good size for the price - I have stayed in both Standard and Deluxe (corner room). Furniture is rustic, country style, old school but durable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Bonus: Try the Taiwanese restaurant on the ground floor, it feels quite authentic and the food is good.
For breakfast, try Santitham Breakfast within a 5-6 minutes walk.
The downsides are mainly in the IT and the appliances. The WiFi login system is quite antiquated, it needs to be replaced. My aircon and the remotes frequently didn't talk to each other.
Daily rates are generally very reasonable for the location/season. Monthly rate seemed attractive at first, but after adding in the utilities, probably won't be saving much, especially in the hotter months. Electricity bill can easily be 1000-1500 THB.
