I stayed at the Marriott Chiangmai Hotel from September 16th through October 1st, 2025. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect beginning with the hotel bellboy and hotel porters. The service was impeccable from day one. |Whether it was opening the doors, assisting with shopping bags, getting in and out of “grab cars”, they were always ready to help.|I was greeted by the hotel receptionists upon check-in with warmth, kindness and professionalism. I was checked-in at once and escorted to my room where I was able to relax and take hot shower then bath after twenty hours of traveling. The room was beautiful, clean and all the amenities were fully stocked and available.|The serving team at the breakfast buffet dining didn’t disappoint either. From the receptionist to every server and all the chefs, I felt very valued and special. They remembered how I like my soy latte (very hot) every morning, drinks were always filled and plates promptly emptied. The chefs remembered how I like my noodle soup (lots of vegetables and very hot), extra cream in my favorite Thai dessert, etc. I looked forward to breakfast every morning.|In summary, my trip was amazing in every way! Marriott Hotel Chiangmai will always be the place I stay at in Chiangmai. YES!!!! Book it. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed at the Marriott Chiangmai Hotel from October 6th through October 10th 2025. We was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect beginning with the hotel bellboy and doorman( Khun Ton). The staff were warm, professional, and attentive in every detail. The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable, with stunning views of the city and mountains. Housekeeping didn’t disappoint either, doing an excellent job everyday. The serving team for breakfast at the Ping restaurant were perfect. The food is mix of local, asian and western cuisine. The hotel is in a prime location , making it effortless to explore night markets and attractions. I felt very valued and special. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. High recommend!

A Truly Unforgettable Stay at Marriott Chiang Mai From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby of the Marriott Chiang Mai, I knew I was in for a special experience. My first impression was of the incredible warmth and friendliness of the reception staff. They welcomed me with genuine smiles and were exceptionally helpful, making the check-in process a breeze. A huge thank you to them for their generosity; they went above and beyond by providing me with a stunning mountain view room. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance. The mountain view was breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop to my stay. The room's spaciousness was a definite plus, but the bathroom was the real showstopper. It was lavishly appointed with a deep soaking tub and a separate, powerful rain shower—the perfect combination for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. The hotel's amenities are nothing short of spectacular. The rooftop swimming pool offers an amazing escape with panoramic city views, and the accompanying spa is a haven of relaxation. What truly impressed me was the thoughtful inclusion of a kids' playground, making it a perfect destination for families as well. Breakfast was a daily highlight. The buffet was a lavish spread with an impressive variety of choices to suit every palate, from local Thai delicacies to international favorites. The quality and freshness of the food were exceptional, setting a high standard for the day ahead. However, the culinary masterpiece of my trip was dining at Favola, the hotel's Italian restaurant on the second floor. It was an absolute revelation. The food was on a different level, cooked to perfection with authentic flavors that transported me straight to Italy. Every dish was a testament to the chef's skill and passion. It truly felt like Italy in the heart of Chiang Mai. My experience was made even more memorable by Mrs. Fah, who was the epitome of warmth and hospitality. Her kind welcome and generosity made our day, and her genuine passion for her work shone through. In conclusion, the Marriott Chiang Mai is more than just a hotel; it's a destination. The combination of exceptional service, luxurious accommodations, incredible amenities, and world-class dining, especially at Favola, makes it a standout. I am already planning my next visit and can't wait to return. A huge thank you to the entire team for a truly unforgettable experience!

Wonderful hotel. We didn’t get an upgrade as Gold members, which was somewhat disappointing but I understand that this is down to availability - we were offered free breakfast instead - which we used on one day out of the five we stayed. The breakfast was superb, so in hindsight I wish we’d woken up to use it more frequently. The swimming pool is great, excellent Mountain view and even better sunset views. Lobby is great for alcoholic drinks. Good happy hour timings around at different locations within the hotel. The locations of the hotel is excellent - right on the doorstep of the bustling night market. Would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutly wonderful stay here. The hotel is beautiful, there are many dining options, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Our stay was made even better by Art who works at the pool bar. He was very kind and when he saw me working on my laptop showed me into a separate area which was better for working. He is just wonderful and even took the time to visit with us using Google Translate for the more complicated topics because we don't speak Thai The lounge is incredibly well run by a friendly staff and they keep snacks and fruit available all day long which we really appreciated. Cannot recommend enough, just a wonderful hotel.

I have just returned from a truly magical seven-night stay at the Marriott Chiang Mai, and while the hotel itself is magnificent, the standout star of our entire vacation was undoubtedly Yeen, a waitress at the Ping Cuisine and Bar.||||To say Yeen is good at her job would be the understatement of the century. She is, without a doubt, the most thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring hospitality professional I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. From our very first breakfast, she remembered our names and our preferred table. But her service went so far beyond simple memorization.

My recent seven-day stay at the Marriott Chiang Mai was nothing short of perfection, and a huge reason for that was an exceptional young woman named June, who works as a waitress at the Ping Cuisine and Bar. Where do I even begin? From the moment we met, June treated me not just as a customer, but as a guest in her care. Her attentiveness was remarkable; she had a magical way of anticipating needs before I even had to ask. A refreshed drink, an extra napkin, a recommendation tailored exactly to my mood – her service was intuitive and seamless. But what truly blew me away was her genuine care for my dining experience. I have some specific food preferences, and June didn't just note them – she took personal ownership of them. After our first conversation, she made it her mission to ensure every meal was perfect. And then something incredible happened: I noticed that every single staff member I interacted with, from the host to other servers, was aware of my preferences. I later discovered that June had proactively alerted her entire team! This level of communication and teamwork is rare and speaks volumes about her dedication and the incredible culture at Ping Cuisine. Thanks to June, I felt incredibly valued and cared for throughout my entire stay. Every breakfast and dinner was a joy, not just because of the delicious food (which was outstanding), but because of the warm, personalized service led by June. Her bright smile and positive energy were a highlight of every day. June single-handedly transformed a great hotel stay into the most enjoyable and memorable trip I've had in years. She is a phenomenal asset to the Marriott team and embodies the very best of Thai hospitality. If you are staying at this hotel, a visit to Ping Cuisine is a must, and if you are lucky enough to be served by June, you are in for an unforgettable treat. Thank you, June, for your incredible kindness and professionalism. You are the reason I will be returning to the Marriott Chiang Mai without hesitation

One of the best hotel experiences we had in Thailand. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn—genuinely anticipating our needs and going out of their way to make things seamless. I’m usually defiantly independent when I travel, but they made the support feel so effortless that I found myself actually relaxing and just letting them take care of things. I appreciated that more than I expected. The location is great—about a 10-minute walk to the Old City, with the night market setting up right outside the hotel each evening. Plenty of restaurants in the area, plus good dining options inside the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with something for everyone: pastries, western staples, Thai dishes—the kids were happy, and so were we. Rooms were a little dated, but we had requested adjoining rooms, and the staff let us know they would have upgraded us otherwise. Honestly, the service more than made up for it. Highly recommend if you want a comfortable stay with standout hospitality and a walkable location.
