Chiang Mai Night Safari – A Wonderful Experience for Families ⭐ I recently visited Chiang Mai Night Safari, and it was truly an impressive experience. The highlight for me was getting to observe various animals at night — a time when they are most active and natural. The entire place is well-designed, making it easy to move around and enjoy every part of the itinerary. 🦁 Fascinating Nighttime Animal Viewing The night safari tour by tram allows you to get very close to the animals. The lighting, route, and pacing are all thoughtfully planned, so you can clearly see each animal without feeling rushed. 🎭 Well-planned Shows and Schedule All shows are arranged at convenient times and locations, making it smooth to transition from one area to another. I was able to watch every show without missing anything. 👶 Great for Families with Young Children I traveled with my 15-month-old baby, and surprisingly, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The environment is cool and relaxing, and the tram rides are smooth — perfect even for very young children. 👨‍💼 Friendly and Helpful Staff Another thing that made the trip memorable was the staff. Everyone was friendly, supportive, and genuinely caring, especially toward families with kids. ⸻ ✔️ Overall: Highly Recommended Chiang Mai Night Safari is absolutely worth visiting — whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or with young children. It’s entertaining, educational, and a great way to enjoy Chiang Mai’s refreshing night atmosphere. ⭐ My rating: 10/10 – A must-try experience!

An amazing and unforgettable experience. It truly feels like a real safari tour! I loved feeding the giraffes 🦒 and zebras 🦓. they come so close, it’s magical. All the animals look clean, healthy, and well cared for. No unpleasant smells anywhere, which is rare for places like this. Definitely recommend if you’re in Chiang Mai!

So many food options. All the regular street fare plus more. Nice little side alleys where you can find a seat to enjoy everything from mangoes to jellyfish. Many barbecued meet options, salads and smoothies. And plenty of shopping options. Every trinket you can imagine and clothing for the climate are available in abundance. I had a surprisingly pleasant interaction with a traffic officer too, a very pleasant man.

We went to Chiang Mai Night Safari with our 5 year old kid, and first sight of entrance and main area was quite a view. Herbivores and Carnivorous trams travel were definitely worth and exciting. We walked across all sections of Safari and it was enjoyable. You must reach by 5PM to thoroughly enjoy the full Safari. If you have a kid along, you can bring after taking a nap in afternoon, so that they can enjoy it till late evening. We stayed here from 5 to 10.30PM. Shows are also worth attended.

The night safari was amazing. It included so many activities such as the walking path (which had so many animals), the tiger show, a dancing show, two different trams that will give you information about the animals, ability to feed animals, the cowboy show, wild animal show, a water show, and more! The food was very reasonably priced and amenities were clean. This is much better than the Chiang Mai zoo

The night Safari is more like a commercial American theme park when you arrive but we did have fun. We got onto two trams that drove relatively quickly through two parts of the Safari where we saw maybe 30 or 40 different species of animals close up at night at night. These included elephants, lions zebras giraffes up close bears, leopards and many other animals we were able to buy some food and throw it to the animals and the giraffe eat food from our hands. The trams drove pretty quickly so in some cases it was hard to really focus or spend any time looking at the animal however for our 3 1/2 year-old with a short attention span, the timing was almost ideal!! More like a zoo than a Safari, but it was a fun activity. Cost us 2400 baht for the two adults our two children were free. The Safari is quite far away from Central Chang Mai about 45 minutes on the way there due to traffic and about 25 minutes on the way back.

We had such a lovely time at the Chiang Mai Night Safari! It's truly a unique experience, getting to see all these animals after dark from the comfort of a tram. My wife and the kids were just mesmerized, especially when the giraffes came right up to the vehicle – it's a feeling you don't forget. They've got a fantastic variety of animals, from those you'd expect to see in a safari to some rather exotic ones. It's really quite well-organized and feels like a proper adventure. Beyond the tram rides, there are some nice shows too, and the whole place has a charming atmosphere as evening settles in. It's a wonderful way to spend an evening in Chiang Mai, quite different from anything else around. I'd certainly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable family outing.

Loved it. You get quite a bit for your ticket. Some of the timings don’t exactly line up if you come after dinner. Getting home was a little hard ordering a grab. So arrange round trip transport with a taxi or grab. Or get the included transfers through get your guide ect
