Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel

We really loved this hotel. There is a 7eleven across the road, several restaurants and massage places within walking distance. You can arrange trips to attractions at the hotel. Scooter rental across the road. Siam Dragon Cabaret show across the street as well. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool is beautiful and clean…fantastic after a day of site seeing. The gym is extremely well equipped. It has a large sauna as well. The WiFi is good in the public areas but was not good inside our room. Overall this hotel is a great choice. I will stay here again, for sure! Highly recommended.

I felt bad but I checked-out 1 hour after my arrival. I booked a room via Agoda and they provided me Room 426. The air conditioners in the room were working so loudly, but the air never got cold. Even it was cooler outside. The view from the window is the abandoned building next to the hotel. Even if you don’t have any 6th sense, you can sense it. Even though the reception staff were nice when I checked-in. But I wanted to take a rest after my trip from Pai, so I’m sorry to say, but I didn’t feel like sleeping over in the creepy and warm room.

I stayed here for about a week and a half as part of a group. I liked this hotel a lot more than the reviews suggested I would. The rooms are large, clean, quiet and comfortable and have the traditional style. The staff were friendly, and the lobby is lovely. The only real downside of this hotel is that it is sort of in an out of the way area. About a quarter mile from the walled city and half a mile from the shopping of Nimman. It's next door to a crumbling, decaying mall and hotel. However, it's a great value for what it offers.

I am very disappointed with the quality of this room. Unfortunately, it does not meet even basic expectations for the price. The room looks extremely old and poorly maintained. Cleanliness is clearly an issue. The bathroom is in particularly bad condition — outdated, worn out, and neglected. Even simple things, such as replacing the toilet seat, would not require significant expense, yet they were not done. The windows are also very dirty, to the point that it is almost impossible to see outside, which makes the room feel even more unpleasant. Considering the condition of the room, it is absolutely not worth 2,000 baht per night. Room #710.

The price of the hotel was minimal. The hotel is dated but cleaned well. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. A good basic selection for breakfast buffet. It was within walking distance to 7/11 and quite a few restaurants. A great place when on a budget.

The hotel is a bit old and has not been updated recently. There were often stains on the wall/counters/rugs. The hotel was sufficient as a place to stay but wouldn’t recommend for a relaxing quality stay.

It has four elevators, so getting around is quick and easy. The public areas are beautifully designed and feel luxurious, providing plenty of comfortable spots to relax.The staff are friendly and very helpful, which made my stay even better. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe here, which is very important to me.Another highlight is the large swimming pool—it’s very well-maintained and kept sparkling clean, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Overall, this hotel is one of the best choices for anyone visiting the area, especially if you’re looking for comfort, safety, and great value in the best location.
