Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel

I stayed here for about a week and a half as part of a group. I liked this hotel a lot more than the reviews suggested I would. The rooms are large, clean, quiet and comfortable and have the traditional style. The staff were friendly, and the lobby is lovely. The only real downside of this hotel is that it is sort of in an out of the way area. About a quarter mile from the walled city and half a mile from the shopping of Nimman. It's next door to a crumbling, decaying mall and hotel. However, it's a great value for what it offers.

This hotel is extremely good value for money. It is full of art, beautiful furniture, and has an ornate feel. Gym and pool are free of charge to use for guests and it has a restaurant and a cafe. Rooms were spacious and well kept and had lots of old/ vintage dark wood furniture. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to assist with my luggage

Stayed here with family during Songkran. We had two adjoining rooms.|The front lobby was clean and very pleasing to the eye.||The rooms and the corridors are very tired indeed. The bathroom needed a total refurb but the shower was very good. The beds were very comfortable and had good sleep the 4 nights we were there.||The pool area is also very tired. Only used the pool once and that was enough.||Breakfast was available but we did not partake.|There is also a Chinese restaurant at the hotel but we were shocked as to how expensive it was compared to the food available outside the hotel.||All in all a good base for exploring Chiang Mai and the surrounding areas but don't expect 5 star quality.

Nice big rooms. Comfortable beds. Kettle but no cups or tea or coffee - it would be nice to add that. Close to the old town and lots of food options close by. Pool was nice. Improve the breakfast - all the food was cold.

The stay at Chiang Mai Orchid Hotel Huay Kaew was average overall. The cleanliness, location, service, and amenities were all okay but nothing stood out. It’s a decent option for a short stay, but don’t expect anything beyond the basics. Suitable for solo travelers who just need the essentials

The Orchard hotel in Chiang mai is in an excellent location, The rooms are dated but very clean and huge in size. The staff is very helpful and friendly, especially the front desk receptionist, Ann is the most friendly and helpful receptionist. Ann helped me every day and has a great smile that makes you feel at home

I was there for dimsum buffet@Chinese restaurant The menu might not be packed with choices, but there’s still a fair variety to pick from. The food tastes decent, not mind-blowing but definitely enjoyable and satisfied. Overall the quality of ingredients is good and you get great value for this price

One of the older hotels in Chiang Mai but many things still make this a nice hotel to stay in.Location is great.The staff are extremely nice and friendly.Good pool and gym.I stayed in a very clean and comfortable room which was quiet and had a nice view.10/10 from me :-)
