I stayed in a deluxe room for a weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel has definitely seen better days but the room itself was clean, quiet and spacious. Furthermore breakfast, the pool and the location are awesome. Only a two minute walk from the night bazaar and not to far from old town. You get a lot for relatively little money!

Service was awesome! Every staff member was so polite that you'd always come and go with a smile on your face. Breakfast was also very generous and had some alteration from day to day. Rooms very spacey and in good condition although public places such as gym was in bad shape. It also seemed like there has been a water damage and there for some parts of the hotel seem to be closed. Overall a very nice place with some renovation needed.

Everyone is really nice here! The rooms were good.... this is an older hotel, but still good. The lobby is magnificent! With all the chandeliers, statues, sitting areas, small bar and a little light live playing music makes it great! Pool is cold, but on a hot day would be refreshing! We enjoyed our stay here(7days). Would stay here again.

WORST hotel stay ever. I understand these are tough times for hotels but such a poor level of service is not professional at all. - No lighting in common areas and inside elevator. Its pitch dark everywhere. The hotel literally looks like a ghost building. - No hot water in shower. - WiFi didn't work. - Breakfast included cold bread and eggs, barely edible. - Entrance is blocked at night, so taxis can't go in. I had to drop off at the road. - And everytime I questioned for warm water and WiFi, receptionist would conveniently say they are sorry and i could write about it on a complaint note 😠😠😠

Great hotel. Location is great as it's very close to the night market. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel looks really good from the outside, the room is nice and big and clean but it needs a little TLC. The bathroom needs a bit of work done. It looks tired and in need of an facelift. See tiny little bugs crawling around the sink and a few in the tub but a wet cloth can take care of them.not sure what they are but they look like ants but about half to quarter of the size. Breakfast is the normal. Standard local, continental style. The eggs and omelettes are already made. Not had lunch or dinner here. Overall its ok for a couple of nights

I've stayed there 3 times now. The price is good and the breakfast really nice. The rooms are clean and quite spacious but there is a smell of mould throughout the lobby and the atmosphere is pretty dull. It's a great location to explore the night bazaar but I think it could do with some renovations.

Booked through agoda after someone recommended it as it was a nice hotel for a decent price. So I decided to stay there for the third night. I got there at 1pm, an hour before check in time, and seeing as I really needed to shower after my elephant trek, I requested for an early check in. But they said the room is not ready (which is a lie because a lot of the rooms are empty and already made) and they pointed me to the swimming pool. The facilities and lobby are very beautiful, Thai themed. But the atmosphere was very dead. So I waited and then when I went to my room in an old elevator, I started to have a bad feeling. The elevator would not close the doors on its own unless you pushed a button and it smelled really musty and old. When I got to my room, I was disappointed. I checked in as one person and also booked as one person in a deluxe, but was given two double beds. The room smelled and was dated, the furniture I could tell had been used for many many years. I showered and all of the essentials were there but the faucet was moving around and loose. I left my luggage on the carpet and then left to go do my night time tour and when I got back, I wanted to climb into bed. To my surprise, as soon as I pulled on the pillow and sheets, I found a cluster of small black specks ... bugs moving around. There were more on the mattress and I called to ask to change to room. I didn't want to risk it as they could be bed bugs. So, they showed me two other rooms adjacent to my original room and I choose the one that didn't look like there were signs of bugs. Yes, it turns out both had bugs. Then they swapped floors, and I looked at two other rooms, also had small tiny skin coloured bugs. I was disgusted and asked for a refund and also that they help me look for a new hotel. The manager said he could not help me as it was booked online and I could not borrow their phone to call agoda. Nor did they offer to help me look for alternative options... they did suggest staying in their small chain or change rooms again. But I didn't want to take that risk. I had an early flight to catch and it was already 2am. So, I ended up booking a room at S*trip hostel (4 minutes away) on my own which was very accommodating at 2am. I was looking for a nice relaxing stay, but ended being disappointed and anxious... and unsure if I'm a carrier of bed bugs now. I couldn't sleep till 4 am that day.

Best kept secret in Chiang Mia. This hotel has been around for a long time and the lobby will stun you with its splendor. The rooms are huge and the price is extremely good. Look for good deals online on sites like Agoda. Have been back to this hotel over many years and it never fails to meet my expectations. Five minutes walk to the Night market and to the River. Excellent location and great service.
