Great place and women! She is the best host. It is clean and nice pool! We enjoyed our stay and would come back! The son will also get you beer if you want! She also put music on when in the pool if you want.

Recently stayed at Chiang Mai Thai House, Thapae Hotel, and had a pleasant experience. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk to Tha Phae Gate, the Night Bazaar, and the Old City, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with recommendations and travel arrangements.The room was clean and comfortable, with basic amenities like air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and a small fridge. While the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, it wasn’t a major issue. The saltwater swimming pool was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring.

Had a great experience here! The service was excellent and very attentive. The owner is super friendly and kind. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Chiang Mai <\3

I'm here now. I came here first 10 years ago, and it is the only hotel in Thailand I chose to return to. No, it's not the poshest, nor the most technologically up to date, and it doesn't have soft, squishy beds US stylee, but it's authentic and pleasant, and the staff are wonderful, and there's a nice pool and it's close to everything in central Chiang Mai and unless you are really super picky, come here and enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend it for travellers and tourists.

The room was significantly different from the photos online. I received a room with numerous damages, including the door that couldn't be locked from the outside (it's just broken), broken toilet drain, no in-room telephone, the lamp is off, the toilet flush hose that was too short to use, and lack of a work desk or chair. The room's interior was extremely outdated and had a disturbing atmosphere (somehow feels creepy and horrible).

An auspicious start with an early check-in at no cost (during high season too!). Our room came with a balcony which was appreciated and enjoyed. Service is superb here, the location making it extremely convenient for getting to the night bazaar, river, or to the old city (inside the moat). The pool is small, yet clean, welcome in the hot season even more I imagine.|Near a main road, the rooms still manage to offer silence.|All in all, a very good choice if one is looking for location and convenience!

We found this absolute gem of a hotel right near thae pae gate. So close to the old city walls and all the amazing temples and also the night bazar and anusarn market.|This was a great boutique hotel and tranquil escape from the noise but so close to the action|Loved it.|The only negative was our bed which was a bit small with a very very hard mattress |But we would definitely come back

The room is good. Outside the bath there is no mirror. The location is bit in the bylanes, when I arrived it was dark ( bit scary ) Staff is polite and friendly. I am on second floor, I love it that there is no disturbance as such... There are places of interest at walking distance. There were several people sitting having coffee at the entrance, I guess that means this place is popular with tourists as such.
