CHIANGMAI BUS TERMINAL 3

Used this 3 times for different places and all worked out well. I booked tickets on 12go website and was all perfect. Staff are friendly and point you in the right direction. Lots of food options at the terminal and a 7-Eleven just across the road. I don’t like how you have to pay for the toilets and one of them you need exactly 3 baht coins to enter.

A fully functional terminal. Lots of places to purchase food, drinks, etc. Toilets were clean and cost 5baht. Bus ticket to Chiang Rai is cheaper at the terminal(206baht) than online(366baht 12Go Asia).

Disappointed with the toilet facilities The bus terminal itself is functional and serves its purpose, but I was disappointed with the condition of the toilets. Charging 3 baht for use would be fine if they were clean, but unfortunately, they were not well-maintained. For a place that welcomes so many travelers, cleanliness should be a priority. Hope the management improves this soon.

Great bus terminal, nice helpful people, easy to navigate. Toilets 3 baht per usage, not so good but useable. Lots of shops selling snacks and stuff. Food eating places also. Nice and clean, lots of seats. We were told to arrive 30 minutes early for our bus, it left on time.

Good station to take bus to Chiang Rai. Has food stalls especially the one selling buns, coconut and meat floss buns are very good. Toilet need to pay. I bought online tickets from Greenbus website, all good, only problem was it got delayed by 45 minutes. Journey to Chiang Rai took 4 hours plus and no stop. Although there's toilet on bus but very difficult to use as bus moving shaking badly.

Busses in and out were great, but the terminal itself was not well maintained considering the number of travelers that go through here. The bathrooms were 3 baht per use and not very clean. It's not the worst restroom I've been in, but close. There is no toilet paper option and squat toilets in half the stalls, so be prepared. We were able to figure out where to go for our bus without issues, however.

We were at this Bus Terminal the other day to purchase tickets from Chiangmai to nan on Greenbus. Greenbus appears to be the only operator that has a VIP Bus service to Nan from Chiangmai. The terminal appears to be aged and can be better maintained. There are several bus operators based in this terminal. Buses are available to various locations in Thailand. Prior booking is recommended for most of the destinations. During holiday seasons, it is better to book in advance as well as get return tickets if you are returning back to Chiangmai.

À little dated, but it’s well located. Make sure you know what terminal you’re going to when making your plans! I know it sounds obvious, but I’ve been asked by more than once to pick someone up at the Chiang Mai bus station and I have to ask them which one they mean.
