Chiangmai Ratanakosin Hotel

We were lucky to have a refurbished room on the seventh floor very comfortable and well serviced with all amenities. The Bed was very large and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not haute cuisine and catered for the local population and not for the western taste but we enjoyed the omelettes and the plentiful cona coffee. It was very cheap to stay and therefore excellent value !!!!!

I was here for 5 nights for a series of meetings. Room was old. Bathroom was a challenge. Front desk service was awful. I have to keep reminding myself that I am in Asia.||The hotel restaurant was the only good thing about this hotel. Food there was acceptable.||My friend suggested this place for our meetings. I was a little bit reluctant. But now I know. I am not coming back to this place.

This hotel is quite old. Room look tired but I do not complain much because the price is very cheap. Surprisingly a fruit basket is prepared in the room, what a welcome gesture... Location is far from city centre so transport is needed. Staff speak little English but quite helpful. I will only stay here if I am on transit or would want to spend the whole day touring and only return to sleep. For Muslim guests, the good news is that this hotel is halal certified

Staying here was a mistake. The room smelt like an ashtray and no amount of airing helped. Friends room had a pigeon in the air vent. Rooms were dated and unclean with little to encourage the English speaking guest. Concierge could not even call a tuk or tell you where the bank was. Breakfast was Asian with no cereals. The foyer and entrance promised much and delivered little and it was over priced. General staff were, as we found all over Thailand, well presented and tried hard to help. Avoid this one.

Food was cheap for a hotel, even though it was a three star one and the restaurant was spacious. Food tasted ok, nothing special.

Do not stay here unless you want a staff that does not care about you. Do not stay here unless you like mold on the shower curtains, or dirty carpets.

Old and horror. I don't want to go again. If you like horror movie in hoyle. Please come here.
