Literally, the best dinner we had in all of Tuscany! Lucca has lots of great food, but this place exceeded them all! I went there with my parents and sister and we all shared the dishes, which were exceptional!! We started with the Montanara which I am still dreaming about today and wish I could have more! The spaghetti with shrimp tartar was the best dish of the night. But the tempura prawns were also a favorite. The owner saw we were going to use google translate on the menu, and came over personally to explain each item of the menu!! So sweet. We sat outside on the street and it was the most beautiful atmosphere! So incredible lovely! My parents stayed in Lucca longer than my sister and I, and have been back 2 other times because this place is the absolute best!!!! Thank you Chiasso 13 for such amazing food!

The service by Lapo was equally outstanding — friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout the evening. We sampled a variety of dishes, each one full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The chicken liver pâté was rich and perfectly balanced, the pasta filled with meat and topped with truffle sauce was indulgent and delicious, and the penne al Imperiale was spot on. We also enjoyed the Montanara as a starter — crispy, savoury, and a perfect way to begin the meal. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cosy and refined, and the thoughtfully curated wine selection further elevates the experience. Chiasso 13 is more than just a restaurant — it's an authentic and intimate culinary journey. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lucca and looking for a great evening.

They seated us last minute on a super busy day and the food was impeccable ! Wow! So fresh, local and interesting. Unique combinations that worked so well that we never would have thought of! Small, well decorated, cosy and superb service. Highly, highly recommend!

I can't explain how much me and friends enjoyed from the extraordinary food, the atmosphere was perfect on the beautiful streets of Lucca. We arrived here late at night and the owner was such an amazing guy he hosted us with a smile, his fiance is the chef and makes all the delicious food. I highly recommend this place as your first stop in Lucca. Each and every dish is well thought through, high class perfect value for money. Simply outstanding.

We dined at Chiasso 13 on a Saturday night and it was the best food we had throughout our week long staycation in Lucca. The owner is so charismatic and friendly and the place has the loveliest atmosphere. Elena looked after us and she was fantastic - so lovely and enthusiastic and made our experience here. Overall, the food is the star of the show, everything we ate was absolutely perfection. Fantastic experience from start to finish, under the radar, hidden gem! We cannot recommend this place enough for your stay in Lucca! A stand out restaurant that we will remember forever!
