5 Can't-Miss Holiday Markets in Chicago

"Enjoy holiday tunes, festive cocktails, and displays from more than 115 vendors at this pop up’s one-day stop at Fulton Market on Dec. 14. At the celebration of Midwest artisans across fashion, home goods, art, and food, Chicago Artisan Market shoppers get especially excited to stock up on gifts from Gindo's hot sauces, Griffin's bottled cocktails, and, my favorite: Crafian Artisanal Toffee (the pristine packaging is icing on the cake). Bring the entire family — admission is free for kids under 12." - Nicole Schnitzler

Not as big as I anticipated compared to Indiana’s markets but the Talent was off the charts 📈!!!!

Nicely put together. We had so much fun visiting each vendor. So many talented people with amazing items for sale. Food options were fun. The bar had fun drinks. Appreciated that it was dog friendly. Can’t wait to go again!

For anyone looking for unique one of a kind items and creative crafts, tasty treats, or new ideas, the Artisan Market is a must.

Sunday only artisan market with an $8 entry fee (if purchased online). Wonderful crafts, great vendors, and enough to see and try out to take up an hour and a half of your time. I was surprised by the quality and quantity of artisan crafts. The venue, too, really made for a great, hip, industrial vibe.

It is nice market, very well presented and shop-like. But I felt the variety of products was predictable and hum drum. Paying an entrance fee did not bother me, I expected more unique and quality products that the vendors had.

I've been to three Chicago Artisan Markets and each one was wonderful. (I can't wait for their 2019 markets.) They have the Chicago Artisan Market in an historic and totally updated building that is gorgeous, full of natural light and easy to get to. I loved the huge variety (and price points!) of the local artists who were there selling - a little something for everyone. The market was full and there were well over 100 booths to visit. It was a fun and busy atmosphere but without feeling over-crowded. I sampled so much food and there were all different food vendors selling lunch, coffee, desserts, etc. (OMG - Taco in a Bag!) Definitely go to this market hungry! They even had "do it yourself" classes and that's something I want to try next time. I didn't spend time in the kid area, but when I walked by, everyone seemed to be having fun with all the free crafts, face painting, snacks & juice. I really like the feeling of supporting local artisans and being able to buy unique stuff for my friends & fam, my home - and myself too!

This was a nice Sunday treat. There were many vendors here from hand made jewelry, art, soaps, seasonings and a variety of other well crafted artisan finery.

The variety of vendors was disappointing, especially for the ticket cost.
