Chicago Group of Houseboats

Stay at Chicago Luxery house boat was a great experience for all four of us.|Food served was equally good, care taken by Mohammad bhai was beyond our expectation. Many thanks to him along with others who served us. ||Will recommend others to enjoy the same house boat stay when they visit Kashmir.

I had an amazing experience of staying at this boathouse. The warmth and hospitality were evident from the moment we arrived. The rooms were cozy and well-equipped with room heater (bukhari) and electric blankets that made the chilly nights incredibly comfortable. The service was excellent and the food was delicious as well.

Very nice houseboat with all the facilities, manual heaters are there in the rooms and the staff is always available to heat it up. Food was amazing veg and non veg. Mr Irshad attended to us and was of great help

Warm and cosy rooms with awesome woodwork. Absolutely homely delicious food in good quantity. Support staff is super helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout. Overall an excellent and pleasant stay for 4 days in the houseboat. Would love yo visit again

Had a bad experience staying here with family. First they provided a room with no heater saying stories about voltages, fought to change the room to have only manual heaters which was working for 1 hour only. I had a infant and 2 senior citizens with me but they did not bother. Breakfast is worst of all(Upma and bread). This place is overated. Not suitable for families.

The house boat is away from the din and bustle of boulevard road, that makes the location calm and quiet with full view of the lake and mountains. Neat and clean, well kept and elegant. What I liked most is ever smiling and helping attitude of staff. We had an elderly lady with mobility problems with us, but staff made her shikara rides very easy. Food was homely and made to suit your palate. The cook was very skilled. Mr. Ajaz (the owner) treated us with Kashmiri Wazwan spread ( marriage feast) on our last night. Wow, it was fabulous. He provided us transport as well at very reasonable rate. The driver was very polite and guided us through all the tourist destinations for 8 days. In my opinion it’s definitely worth stay if you are in Srinagar.

Hotel's location is good. You can see the beautiful boathouses along the lake with mountain as the background. The service is excellent. Mr. Ajaz, the owner, also provided us a tour around Kashmir area which was good and impressive experience. Food is very delicious. Overall, this hotel is value for money and we have a very good memory here.

What a phenomenal experience at Chicago Houseboats. We were so well looked after. All the staff and management were amazing. We had the best local food cooked for us. It was so clean, comfortable and simply beautiful. A big shout out to the owner - Ajaz, and Mohammed. Such lovely humble, helpful people who made our stay even more special. Kashmir is Paradise on Earth! When you plan to go make sure you stay at Chicago Houseboats where your Kashmiri dreams will come true! Highly Recommended.!!!
