Chicago Lakes

Chicago Lakes did not disappoint! Amazing hike with beautiful views and abundant wildlife. Moose, mountain sheep and goats, and incredible wild flowers!

This is a beautiful hike. On the difficult side. Climbing up and out at the end is always challenging. Trail head and roadside parking already packed at 8:00 AM. Very windy at the lake. Early June weather was perfect.

Amazing. Long, fun, difficult at times hike. We would definitely do it all again. The final push to summit lake was obviously the most difficult.

I have visited this lake twice and both times in winter season. It is mesmerizing and breathtaking with majestic mountains. I would love to visit in summer season and enjoy the hikes.

This is one of the most beautiful locations I've ever been to. Hiking there is definitely the best way to go, but make sure to go in later summer to avoid snowy areas that will block your path.

Challenging hike, but worth doing. When going towards the lake you might have to fight your way through the shrubs.
