We have visited this breakfast spot several times on Sunday after church, usually around 1 pm, and have had a mix of experiences overtime.
The food itself is consistently good we usually order two red velvet pancakes and sides of sausage links. The pancakes are delicious and priced well, and a half order option is a great way to try multiple flavors without paying for full plates the restaurant is small but does offer outdoor seating, which is great on warmer days.
Where the experience has been inconsistent is with the service, particularly for carry out orders. On one visit, we placed an online order that the restaurant never received, which led to confusion and a long wait before another employee helped us remake the order. On another occasion, calling in went smoothly and everything was correct. There was also a time I was left on hold while trying to place a phone order and ended up having to order in person instead.
I've also had an issue with a takeout order where two sausage links were missing. I was told a refund would be issued, but it never came. On a later visit, the staff did make it right by removing the charge from a new order, which is appreciated.
Overall, experience here feels very dependent on who is working that day. When things run smoothly, the food is enjoyable and worth returning for. Improving order accuracy, communication, and consistency during busy times would go a long way in elevating the overall experience.
