Chicama Boutique Hotel

When I looked online for a place to stay, the reviews at other options were not consistent. I noticed however the Chicama Beach Boutique Hotel had consistently good reviews. Hoping to find a slightly lower priced place to stay, I continued to look. Finally, I decided to take a chance and spend more than I originally planned to stay at this Boutique Hotel. I do not regret the choice. Sometimes in life you get what you pay for. This place was worth every penny. It turns out this Hotel is often fully booked, so we were extremely fortunate to book the only room that unexpectedly became available for a last minute getaway. This place is it's own little piece of paradise. We enjoyed the stay its self as well as the very short walk down to the world famous beach. It was also a short walk to little shops, and the small neighboring town. If you are able to book a stay here, you will not regret it.

The best location on the point. The service and staff are fantastic, the food is excellent and it is very safe. The hotel is the premier place to stay to surf, foil, or SUP Chicama. For a boutique resort they offer excellent amenities including a small gym, daily yoga, massage, steam room and the best pool/ hot tub view in town. There are also boards and wetsuits for rent as well as a few surf shops that rent and provide lessons in the immediate area.

What can I say? If you’re heading to Chicama to foil or surf, you would be doing yourself a massive disservice by not booking here. It’s like coming to Surf Camp with all of your new favorite friends. The service is exceptional, management superb and the food/drinks are great as well. They have a board garage for your equipment, hot tub to warm up in after your surf, steam room and sauna for your down time and daily yoga to keep you flexible.

This hotel is super disrespectful to any other surfer on the waves. I don’t know who Emma was who did the last review but I totally agree with her. The bald guy needs to learn surfing rules and respect on the waves. Locals and other tourists talk negatively about this resort because of this, so if you are staying here you might get some sideways looks if this sort of behaviour continues

High-end surf resort with amazing, huge rooms, cool design, and nice management. I was surprised that such a great resort is working in this poor area. It was a bit tricky to find it by car but ask the locals if got lost. You have to ring the bell on the big door and wait until someone opens it but then it will be really great to arrive. You can rent pro surfboards from them and they help to rent a boat, hire a guy with a drone if needed. The hotel was renovated 2 years ago so everything looks brand new. One of the best resorts on my 2 months long peru trip xx

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks (across 2 separate times). This is by far the best hotel in Chicama, in terms of luxury, vibe, customer service, food quality, and location. The rooms are modern, clean, very spacious, showers are nice and hot, and beds are big and comfy. The ladies working tirelessly at the restaurant and bar are amazing - they work so hard to make sure service is good and everything that comes out of the kitchen is 5 stars (especially the chorrillana fish and burger!). The hotel is located right in front of the go down to the surf and there's a nice storage room for surfboards, foils, all the toys. And the hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms, and daily yoga sessions were the perfect complement to super tiring surf sessions. I love that while this feels like a high end hotel, it's still casual and relaxed enough that you're able to feel at home - lounging in the couch, walking around barefeet, some guys in their speedos, etc. It's a nice place that doesn't feel stuffy or too fancy. The main shout-out here goes to two managers - Daniel and Ralph. They both go above and beyond to make guests happy and make sure we have everything we need. I was super sick this past week and Ralph made sure to ask after me and Daniel gave my husband emergency probiotic liquid stuff and electrolyte drinks to give to me. They are juggling with a hundred requests and logistics per day especially with all the groups that stay at the hotel, and for them to care and remember the little things is the biggest testament to their dedication to excellent hospitality. Thank you and I can't wait to be back!!

Awesome hotel, best in Chicama/Pto Malabrigo, all facilities, food, and after surf activities geared towards surfing. Great service and staff.
