We had an amazing experience at Chicha in Arequipa. The highlight for us was the adobo arequipeño, a rich and flavorful soup with tender meat and a special pepper, perfect for dipping fresh bread. It was absolutely delicious and full of authentic local flavors.
We also tried the corn toasts with trout, which had a ceviche-style preparation — super fresh and vibrant. Another standout was the guinea pig taco, where the tortilla was made with chicha morada (a traditional Peruvian purple corn drink), adding a unique and creative touch.
The flavors were outstanding, the presentation was beautiful, and the service was very good. Overall, a memorable meal that truly captured the spirit of Arequipa’s cuisine. Highly recommended!
