The food was really good. Getting a starter and a main were extremely filling which is nice at a fine dining establishment. Some of our group only got 1 course and still left satisfied. No tiny portions here. Not quite Michelin star quality in my opinion as other reviews have hinted at, but I could see it as a Bib Goumand perhaps. Nice decor, plenty of seating, attentive and friendly staff without being overbearing. Naturally the prices are higher but still quite affordable by UK standards for a good quality meal.

Local and regional flavors abound in a lovely atmosphere with a friendly staff and warm service. Triple Picantero, The Hot Pot, anything shrimp or Alpaca all delicious and save room for desert. Great presentations and deliciousness.

Lengua salad was phenomenal- cooked to perfection and accompanied by fresh local herbs :)) trout was not mind blowing, a little too much garlic/ drenched in butter, but still tasty. Pulpo was also cooked perfectly and chimichurri- anticucho sauce is fire. Appreciate the wide ranging menu, of local and national classics. Perfect for a treat of creative bites and plays on traditional Arequipan cusine.

The good: I have to praise the bar, specially the negroni arequipeño, the barman was amazing and offered a great service, this is the only reason I’m scoring a 3 instead of a 1/5. The food is NOT the best in Arequipa, we tried a better restaurant, but prices are great for the quality of the food. The bad: The food service was, in my opinion, mediocre for the restaurants of that price, waiters did not changed plates or forks and acted in a rush to prioritise a better service in other tables. They also changed their attitude coming to our table, having a warm attitude in other tables and changing to mad and rush coming to us. The very bad: Finally, the first time we went for drinks, a waiter moved us to the waiting room from a table to have our drinks there 👎🏻 (even when they had lots of free tables and the host already assigned us the table for drinks). In addition, he ignored us for 15 minutes at least, when we wanted to order.

This was the best Peruvian food we had so far! Tried Alpaca for the first time, and it was delicious. The pulpo for a starter was very tasty. Great service by Israel, our waiter and a really stylish location with a nice interieur. Also nice: the kitchen is covered with a wall of glass so you can have a look inside.

Excellent food with a seasonally changing menu. We were blown away with the quality and taste of the food - traditional Arequipa cuisine. Highly recommend to try if you’re visiting like we were

Fantastic place, probably one of the best in Arequipa. Atmosphere, food and service were on par, making the evening a memorable one. A place I’d return to without any hesitation.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in Peru I've been to. The staff was very outgoing and friendly. The atmosphere was great. The soup I've had was delicious and one of the best I've ever had! Definitely recommended and I think you can't make any mistake here by choosing anything they have on the menu.
