I was happy to hear that there was a biryani restaurant in the area, and I no longer have to drive all the way to 36th and May for good food. I went to this location around 2:30, and they were closed. The operating hours on the door stated they were open, but even when calling, there was no answer and the lights were off inside. I decided to return the next day around the same time, and they were open. I proceeded to ask the cashier about the restaurant being closed the other day, and he stats due to Ramadan, they were closed. I informed him a sign on the door for next time or even updating his operation hours on the website will help a lot and won't cause people to drive so far and be disappointed. He said: “Thanks for the idea, and I will try that next year.” I proceed to order two spicy chicken biryani, one chicken curry, two different flavors of naan, and mango lassi. One order of chicken biryani was spicy, but the other biryani was not. Also, not a lot of chicken inside the dish, maybe one small chicken leg each. The mango lassi was not made in-house (bummer). The naan bread was a nice portioned size. I’ll give this restaurant another try because I noticed they had Samosa on their menu list. This review will be updated once I try the Samosa. If it stays at three stars, that’s because the Samosa was nothing special.
