Google
This place may be a chicken spot, but honestly all their food is delicious! The beer here is way fresher and colder than anywhere else. The space is super spacious, so it’s our go-to for group gatherings. Hands down the best fried chicken in Toronto! Highly recommend for big groups and definitely recommend the draft beer!

dined in right when it opened so we were the only customers. you order from your phone via QR code so there’s no time wasted waiting for waitress/waiters. restaurant provides free fresh popcorn throughout your meal. we tired the Yang-Nguyen Chicken, the Red Marvel Chicken (spicy!!!), the bulgogi beef fries and the cheese balls. these 4 items were more than enough food for 2 adults with leftovers to spare. chicken was very crunchy and juicy despite being sauce covered and all food was served hot.

20250813 Update: I love the deep fried golden French fries. The spicy chicken wings is super delicious. Staff are nice. 2025: It's a Korean deep fried chicken bar in North York. Good vibe in a very dark lighting setting. The deep fried chicken tastes phenomenal and it comes with fries. The street parking outside the restaurant is free after 9pm. They have to use the QR code with the online menu to order. If they have a physical printed menu, that will be very good.

This spot used to be my my chicken and it’s now replaced by chicken plus the bar. Similar to them there’s complimentary popcorn served. Everything I got was delicious! The seafood pancake had actual shrimps and sizing was generous! I enjoyed everything here!

Came by for dinner with a group of 7 on a Saturday @8PM. The staff welcomed us in and we were able to get a seat right away luckily. We ordered combo B that came with fish cake soup, rice cakes and a small chicken which we chose Hell Spicy. The apps were a great start to the meal and the hell spicy chicken was pretty spicy, equivalent to Buldak 2x spice noodles. It had good flavouring but understandably could be too hot to enjoy for most. The kimchi fries were ok, wasn’t a fan of the type of cheese they used but the portion was huge. Green onion chicken was delicious, the chicken here is crispy and juicy, no complaints at all! Cheesling chicken was surprisingly pretty good as well with good flavouring. Usually not a fan of the fake cheese powder but it was just the right amount of flavour and not an obnoxious amount. The staff here were extremely kind and outgoing and provided great service, definitely elevated the experience. Will definitely come back!

The fried chicken was pretty good. They do offer 10% discount with cash and free snacks if you follow and share on IG. What I like: food was good and you call service with your phone. Even ro ask more water or napkins What I don't like: only paid parking (not direct issue with restaurant) and the place was too dark for my taste.

Chicken was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We got yang-nyuem and soy garlic boneless (note there wasn’t any bone-in options) chicken. I thought both were very good and the chicken succulent. Came with pickled radish on the side. Additionally we ordered beef intestine and seafood pancake. Beef intestine was very beefy tasting and clean. It was chewy and some pieces were fatty. Didn’t have that innards taste you sometimes get from eating intestine. It was served on a hot plate so there was a nice crust on the bottom after the beef intestine and other ingredients cooked on the plate for a bit. Definitely sharing size. Seafood pancake was very nice and fluffy. Not dense or doughy. It felt more like tempura than the usual Korean pancake. Restaurant vibe was on the dark side. You can do most things through the menu website like order, ask for more water, ask for the bill (cash is 10% off). Would definitely come again.

Google
This is my fave Korean Fried Chicken place and my go-to is the Snowing Cheese flavour. This particular location is more spacious and has a bar (duh) - the food is just as good as other locations but I think the Yang-Nyeum sauce here is a little watered down. Overall, still enjoyed the food and service was good.

Yelp
They have great dine-in combo specials daily and happy hour drink specials from Sunday to Thursday. The combo specials are a really great way to get to try some new things! My favourites so far are the Korean Butter Squid, Rose tteokbokki, and the Creamy Onion Fried Chicken. Butter Squid - So tender, buttery, and addictive. Sometimes I randomly think about this dish. Highly recommend! Rose Tteokbokki - Very creamy, spicy, sweet, savoury. The long noodle tteok is so good. It's such a good texture and such a fun shape for tteokbokki! I guess it's been pretty popular in Korea for a while though! Creamy Onion Fried Chicken - Love that the chicken stays crispy but still has some creaminess from the sauce. The onions give it a great fresh bite when you eat it with the chicken. Pro-tip: Bring mints/gum for after. I'm going to be honest, this is the only KFC place where I get bone-less chicken. It's so good because I think they only use dark meat. Honestly so much easier to eat. The Yangyeum here is okay I think I waited a little too long and the chicken was not very crispy so it was less enjoyable. Snowing Cheese is good as well, but it gets a little bit sweet for me after a few bites. Sometimes we order a spicy flavour and then get snowing cheese on the side and sprinkle it on top. Oh! They also use Cavendish fries and all their topped fries are very good. The service is fine, they try their best. I think it got much better when they implemented the QR code + online ordering system. The restaurant is dim but they will bring you a cute little table lamp when it gets too dark. I was disappointed when they first replaced the old KFC place, but I feel like my experiences here get better every time I visit!

Yelp
So delicious, so many options and such a great dining experience. Got here on a weekday evening for dinner for four and it was overall such a great time. When you sit down, they give you popcorn as a complimentary side before ordering - this is refillable. We got the Combo F that comes with 2 small chickens, 1 tteokbokki, 1 Korean fish cake soup, 1 deep fried squid and 4 highballs. The combo was for $130 and was such a great variety of food. The combo meals are for dine in only. The food items ranked: Yuzu highball 4/5 - This was okay, lacked some flavour but still refreshing with all the fried foods we were having. Tteokbokki 5/5 - Love rose tteokbokki, it's chewy, saucey and a bit spicy. Comes with sausage and bacon as well. Absolutely loved this and would highly recommend ordering this again. Oden soup 5/5 - We didn't know the oden soup would be so spicy and we weren't able to eat this at all. The staff were so nice to make a brand new soup for us without any spice. It had a bunch of different fish cakes in here and had such a clear delicious broth. Fried calamari 5/5 - Comes whole and served with scissors so that you can cut it up yourself into smaller pieces. It's nicely battered and comes with a delicious dipping sauce. Fried chicken with original sauce 5/5 - Asked for the original sauce on the side, since some of us don't eat spicy. So delicious and the fried rice cakes were a great addition to the chicken. Creamy onion chicken 5/5 - It was definitely creamy and the white onions on top were a great refreshing bite to have with the already creamy fried chicken. This was good for the first few bites but gets heavy quickly. Make sure to share this with someone. Overall, this place was so good and delicious. Would highly recommend their combo meals as it comes with a variety of different foods to eat. Can't wait to come back again.

Yelp
First time at this location and its a spacious restaurant with a photo booth inside as well. We ordered their creamy cheese fries & boneless yang nyeum chicken which were both so good but I just found the chicken to be on the saucier side. The presentation for both dishes were amazing and great portions. Staff was very kind and they gave out free popcorn while you wait for your order! Everything is done on their website (ex: ordering, assistance & bill) so its very convenient.

Yelp
This Korean fried chicken joint is by far the best fried chicken I've had in Toronto. It definitely surpasses all the fast-food chain options. The fried chicken here has a rich sauce flavor and each bite is incredibly satisfying. I even wrote a Google review for them and they even gave me a complimentary side of fries. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

Yelp
I visited Chicken Plus the Bar, a newly opened Korean chicken spot in the North York area, and it was quite satisfying. We decided to try their half and half bone-in chicken with YANG-NYUEM sauce and CREAMY ONION. The chicken was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The YANG-NYUEM sauce had the perfect balance of sweetness and spiciness, while the CREAMY ONION was a delightful combination of a creamy sauce and onions. Next, the service at Chicken Plus the Bar was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They promptly took our order and ensured that everything was served in a timely manner. In terms of ambiance, the modern interior design, combined with the warm lighting, created a pleasant and relaxed environment. It was the perfect place for friends gathering or dating. The food is one of the best Korean friend chicken I had in Toronto, the service is top-notch, and the ambiance is just right.
