Chicken Shop

I visited Chicken Shop yesterday for their grand opening and was really impressed! I ordered the spicy burger, and it was amazing—juicy, flavorful, and had the perfect kick of spice. The bun was fresh, and the overall presentation was great. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the place had a fun and vibrant vibe. It’s always exciting to see new spots opening up, and Chicken Shop is definitely off to a strong start. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!😋

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. They were all smiles before I even got to the till. Getting and paying for the meals were straightforward on the screens and they had buzzers so you could leave and come back. My meal was out in 10mins. I sat down to eat and the establishment was clean, tidy and easy to navigate with lots of tables and space to choose to sit at. I loved the honey soy chicken wings - definitely would have them again and would recommend. I, however, would not recommend the straight up chicken wrap. I thought it was flavourless even with the chicken and the sauce inside. Would not buy it again or recommend it. Hopefully if I come back, I can get something worth the £9 I paid for the wrap.

Decided to visit this place to see what the hype was about... disappointed and not worth the price! Ordered using the kiosks available, although staff are there to help you out. Plenty of seating too, didn't have to wait. We ordered Gunpowder & Fajita Tenders, Fries and Mango & Coconut Milkshake. Gunpowder Tenders were bland and lacked flavour. The Fajita Tenders were ok. Fries were ok too, nothing special. I personally didn't like the Samurai Sauce with the fries. The Mango & Coconut milkshake was really good though, can't fault that! 👍🏽 Staff were kind and polite, also quick to get the food ready. 😊 Waited about 5-15 minutes for about 3 meals, which is good. I usually give places another chance but not sure if I'll visit again to be honest, lets see.

Absolutely loved it! The chicken was really tasty and Juicy. Liked their Angry Fries. The Spice up burger and The Mango Coconut shake were the game changer. Must try if you do not like your food bland. Their service was outstanding as well. The waiter, I forgot his name, was really helpful and well-mannered. The location is nice too. We were there at around 9pm so it wasn’t that crowded. Nice sitting area with wheelchair access. The best part is, IT’S ALL HALAL!! Loved it!

Korean Rice box came with spicy rice, tenders & slaw Korean sauce rice was bit of a let down wasn’t that good rest tenders , slaw was quality. Korean fries loaded was nicely combine with Korean sauce sweet & very tasty. Hot tenders was tender , soft , succulent spicy very tasty really enjoyed it size of the tenders was big negative is bit pricey for fast food.

I had the double fajita burger with fries, the burger was huge and tasty, and the fries were super crispy and fresh. The fajita chicken tenders were my favourite - so crispy and full of flavour. Also, don’t miss the mango & coconut milkshake, one of the best I’ve ever had, really refreshing and perfect for summer. The food is fully halal, which is great. Overall, really good experience!

Really good chicken and attentive staff. Portion sizes were good and came quickly. EDIT: Had to amend my review to 4 stars as unfortunately we were constantly asked to review the place and interrupting our meal. We had two different staff members come by to ask us to review and scan their paddle boards when the tables already had the QR code to the review pages. The first time was fine to ask, but I was very put off by the second staff member who “joked” that all members had to leave a review and not just one person (I was the only one who left the review at the time when the others were going to leave theirs later). Sorry, enjoyed the food but you need to stop begging for reviews!

The tenders were dry and forgettable, and the crinkle cut chips didn’t help, they tasted like effort without reward. I ordered six tenders but tapped out after three. To be fair, they were big and filling, which is the only reason I didn’t leave hungry. But taste wise, I had zero motivation to keep going.
