Absolutely beautiful! The Chiesa Badia di Sant’Agata is a true treasure in Catania. The baroque architecture is stunning, and climbing up to the dome gives you breathtaking panoramic views of the city and Mount Etna. It’s peaceful, well-kept, and full of history. A must-visit while in Catania — both for the church itself and the unforgettable view from the top!

You should definitely visit this place in Catania… You can go up to the top where you will need to buy a ticket for 5 (Euro). Very beautiful views from the top… You can enjoy the beautiful old architecture and views of the city

10000% worth the ticket (don't forget the last set of narrow stairs to the very top viewpoint) - truly breathtaking!

A beautiful church, which is also a concert venue, is very close to the cathedral. This has an impressive dome which you can climb up to for lovely views of the town and Etna.

Must go place in Catania!!! This is a gem if you go up to the top, the ticket costs 5€ and worth to buy it. You can enjoy the most breath-taking view from the Cupola and to overlook the town and the Duomo square, as far as to the sea and Etna.

Free to enter and €5 to see the view on the terrace and belvedere. I was hesitant to pay that to see the view but glad I did. On a clear and sunny day like I had it was beautiful! Fantastic scenery of Mt Etna and over the old town. There is a lift to get to the terrace if you wish and 70 more stairs after that. Otherwise it’s 170 stairs to go up. The church itself has a decent interior and there was a choir practicing when I was there.

Spectacular views from the top, a must visit (5 Eur entrance) despite the many stairs (part of the fun, right?) Come here for SUNSET, and if you can plan it - better on a clear day so you can see both the sea on the one sode and Etna mountain on the other!

The top walkway offers an amazing view of downtown and mount Etna. It is only open in the morning and afternoon. There are roughly 150 steps to climb in a narrow staircase. There is a cover charge for the rooftop but the church can be visited for free. The church itself is small but very nice.
