📍 Chiesa di San Lorenzo – Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italy 🇮🇹
A peaceful 14th-century church ⛪ at the top of Manarola, reached by an uphill walk 🚶♂️ from the village. Built in Gothic style with a rose window and a simple interior 🏛️, it offers a quiet break from the busy streets below. The small square outside gives nice views of the rooftops and sea 🌊. Not crowded, making it a tranquil stop if you don’t mind the climb. 🙌

A very simple, humble, yet memorable church in the center of town, up on top of a lovely hill granting excellent views of the sea. A small, yet effective plaza to gather the locals around each week. Inside, there were a couple of worshipers, and the numerous lit candles added an air of spiritualness as you walked through the doors. We spent some quality quiet time here. You should too.

The Chiesa di San Lorenzo in Manarola is a charming church situated above the town, providing a picturesque view of the coastal scenery.
Inside the church, there's also a vintage Italian chamber organ.

Small church in the heart of Maranola. Like every town of the Cinque Terre, you will find its local church that you can visit.

I stopped into this empty church to gawk for a few minutes while waiting for something else. It's old and nice for what it is, but nothing struck me as exceptional. Across from the church, however, is a lookout stand, where one can get good views of the town.

Yelp
An attractive 14th century baroque church with a beautiful, ornate, rose window, three naves and a bell tower. Situated in the upper part of Manarola and definitely worth a look. The views from outside the church over the village and out to sea are marvellous.
