This Peruvian restaurant in La Fortuna is a true treasure. The owner’s warm hospitality and genuine curiosity about different cultures create an inviting and memorable dining experience. The food is phenomenal, both in taste and presentation. The cilantro rice with seafood is bursting with vibrant, fresh flavors, and the Peruvian sea bass is perfectly cooked, tender, and delicious. To top it off, their pisco sours are exceptional—frothy, tangy, and expertly crafted. With outstanding cuisine, impeccable service, and a welcoming ambiance, this is hands down the best restaurant in La Fortuna. Don’t miss it!

A fantastic spot in La Fortuna to have Peruvian food. It’s a small place without a lot of tables, but we were able to be seated on a Saturday night pretty quickly. Ordered the ceviche, lomo saltado, and a chicken dish. It took a little bit of time for the food to come out but it was worth it. Large portions and tasted fresh. It’s a bit pricier than you might expect for Costa Rica but still very good.

Sometimes when you look at the reviews and then you look at the place your mind begins to wonder good food is coming out of this place, well it was only one way to find out. I passed up the first time thinking I would find something that is more appeasing. So, I made a U turn and said what the hell I will give it a try. Chifa Lafamilia Feliz did not disappoint. The combination of Chinese, Peruvian, & Costa Rica mix is insane. The flavor jumps right in your face, just take it all in. The owner and his wife really put their soul into every dish. As I sit a wait on my dish, I can hear them signing while prepping these masterpieces of flavor. This is one of those establishments that gets an exception to the rule you can visit twice while on vacation. Definity a must visit.

My favorite food of my entire trip in Costa Rica. I ate here twice in 2 days, it was that good. And, I eat a lot of Peruvian food but this was the BEST lomo saltado I've ever had. Service was top tier. You must eat here!

This was my first time trying Peruvian food and I was blown away!! I tried the anticucho de carne and it was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. The flavours were incredible. The chef was also so kind and friendly! 1000/10 recommend.

The best food in town! Great flavors, textures, and location! We had the beef which was so tender, crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce was delicious with balanced flavors, and the fried fish - chef’s kiss! We usually don’t eat at the same place more than once on trips but ate here once a few years ago and twice more this trip. Hope they will be here for us next time we visit! My 2 year old really loved the shrimp and noodles.

Great family run spot with delicious Peruvian cuisine. They also have a selection of craft beers from guanacasta that is fantastic! Try the tropical craft beer and the limo Saltado! Staff was very accommodating.

At first it looks like a garage, but don’t let yourself be fooled! Once they open (not necessarily on time…), “pura vida”! Everything is phenomenal: The servers are super friendly and give good recommendations. And once the food arrives, it looks, smells and tastes delicious! There is a huge variety of things to choose from and they all taste amazing! Super flavorful and a really cool combination of Asian and Peruvian flavors!
