Best Food I ate during my 3 week trip through Costa Rica. Being vegan, finding good food aside from plantain was not that easy. They even had tofu which I never saw anywhere else. The food was just perfect, very tasteful and fruity. I am still talking about it, even months later.

One of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at! Flavor profile of every dish was unique and delicious. A must go for folks who enjoy fusion and hints of lime in their dish. We also chatted with the owner / chef of the restaurant, and you could tell how much love he puts into cooking. MUST GO!

I had a great experience at this Peruvian restaurant! The ceviche was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of citrus. The lomo saltado was also delicious — tender beef, well-seasoned, and served with crispy fries and rice. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend

Both my friend and I had the tofu saltado as recommended by the chef and it was amazing. The chef is super helpful and friendly. Great place for vegan and veggie options and to try Peruvian fusion food.

super gluten free friendly! The menu is clearly marked with what has gluten and when I told the waitress my dietary restrictions, the chef came out personally to explain what he could additionally alter to make gluten free. Overall, the vibes were amazing and the food came out piping hot and was delicious🤩 got the ceviche, fried tilapia, beef skewers and sea bass

Very yummy food and decent prices for the area! We were immediately seated and found lots of options to choose from. One note is the service isn’t the fastest (they have a small kitchen and everything was cooked to order), but the wait was so worth it!

Can not speak highly enough about this restaurant. I am gluten free and wanted one of the fried chicken dishes. Instead of what restaurants normally do—replace the fried portion with grilled that changes the entire dish—they had gluten free ingredients on hand to ensure I could have the same dish- just made gluten free! The chef came out and told me all of the ingredients he swapped! The flavor profile was incredible. My first time having pisco as well, and my mixed drink was delicious. The service was timely and so friendly. This is my most favorite restaurant in Costa Rica by far. Will be back, and recommending to anyone going to La Fortuna! Thank you!!!
