CHIIK Steak & Pasta Thảo Điền

This restaurant was viral on TikTok so I wanted to try it out. Me and my boyfriend try the bbq chicken rose cream pasta. The pasta is good, but a little pricey in my opinion. Since it’s a more fancier restaurant, I expected a little more from it. I paid double for a water bottle here so I was expecting my water to be alkaline water. They gave me Dasani which you can get anywhere for a lower price. Overall, I would come back for sure!

The food here is very delicious, it met my expectations, which is rare. However, this place is considered an exclusive restaurant due to its pricing and quality, so I would expect the servers to be more present, rather than needing to ring a bell for service. The service itself is great, this is more about the system than the staff. I also think it would be better to have the option to pay at the table, rather than at the counter.

The pasta was excellent, with perfectly cooked beef, and the sauce exceeded our expectations — slightly spicy, creamy, and full of flavor. The Cobb salad was a bit too sweet for my taste, but overall, the meal was great. The chili cheese fries were a bit too salty for my liking, though the fries themselves were cooked quite perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy—not too spacious, but quiet and comfortable enough. Overall: 8.5/10

another steak pasta spot, and I have to say pasta pairs really well with the steak. Great balance of flavors, and everything was cooked just right. The atmosphere overall is okay nothing too special, but comfortable enough. However, there was one small downside: the upstairs area gets pretty noisy. The sound really echoes when utensils clink against plates or each other, probably because the space doesn’t absorb sound well. It can get a bit distracting if you're looking for a quiet meal. Still, the food makes it worth a visit!

We had a fantastic lunch here as a group of 4 adults and 1 toddler! The steak was tender and came with a fresh, crisp salad. The seafood pasta in creamy sauce was exceptional — rich and flavorful. We also ordered the fried rice with prawns and egg, which was a huge portion and great for sharing. Drinks were refreshing: the watermelon juice and lemonade were both delicious. Prices start at around 180K per plate and are totally worth it. And yes — even our toddler gave the steak a big thumbs up! 👶🥩 Definitely coming back!

If you’re craving pasta in Thảo Điền, this was really good! The beef was surprisingly tender, but the portion was a bit big so I definitely recommend sharing with a friend. I also got the chili cheese fries as a side and that was equally good!

The signature creamy pasta with beef here is quite delicious and reasonably priced. I really love their cream sauce. The side dishes and salads are just average. The place is often packed, so it’s better to make a reservation to avoid long waits. I usually go outside of lunch and dinner peak hours. The restaurant is small but has a spacious feel, though there aren’t many tables and the lighting is a bit dim.
