What a superb dinner of sardines, gazpacho followed by ox tail and steak, beautifully presented and served by the amazing Victor. Victor regaled us with stories of his 19 years at the restaurant and the list of famous people that have visited, we loved the stories. The setting was a beautiful old building with outdoor seating in the square, but it was still 37 degrees at 8pm, so we ate inside and soaked up the atmosphere. Highly recommend

The establishment offers an elevated dining experience, enriched by the staff's willingness to share historical insights and a decor featuring portraits of notable figures. The service is attentive and cordial. Our party ordered the Grilled Salmon, Chicken Soup, Filet, and Oxtail. Complimentary offerings included olives bread and an artichoke salad with limoncello after the meal. The Grilled Salmon was expertly prepared, though a touch more salt could have enhanced the flavor profile. The Filet was cooked to perfection, exhibiting a desirable char and was delicious. The Oxtail, prepared in the style of a pot roast with a red wine reduction, was also exceptional. While the soup was satisfactory, it did not quite match the caliber of the other dishes. For dessert, we sampled the Fried Milk, Almond Tart, and a Frozen Tart infused with whiskey and almonds, all of which were outstanding and featured delightful flavor combinations. We will definitely love to visit again.

This restaurant is one of the oldest establishments in Granada. It is located adjacent to a small pleasant plaza. The entrance brings you in to the small bar where you can order a drink and enjoy a tapa. The restaurant is just next door through a beautiful old wood door. It is a cozy medium sized room with tables covered with white tablecloths. The menu features some classic dishes of Granada such as the Sacromonte omelette and snails. The waiter was attentive and the ambiance was perfect for a cold January night meal. The wine list has a comprehensive overview of Spanish wine with majority at a very affordable price with an average of 25€ a bottle. The food is not elegant or gourmet but tasty and satisfying. Comfort food.

They were about to close, but still let me in. Great service, great food and absolutely worth it!

Came back twice. First had the presa (pork) and it was melt in your mouth. Not a huge pork fan but this was done well by the chef. Second time I had the boquerones or fried anchovies and the ibérico jamón. Both amazing!! Worth a visit or two.

Google
We found this restaurant after a full day of touring Granada. A bit off the tourist path and filled with locals. Service is absolutely outstanding. We sat outside on the patio and the ambience was great. Not a cheap restaurant but the food is incredibly good. We ordered the house specialities and they didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend

Google
Lovely little spot for a homey meal - tons of photos of famous people on the wall, but full of locals. We enjoyed the marinated sardine salad, the gazpacho, oxtail soup and the oxtail.

For a quiet break from the busy city, sit inside, it is a far more pleasant experience than the terrasse. If you think you might get good service since you are practically alone, forget it...just as the wait staff will forget you. Just accept that if you want or need anything, you have to call them over. Excellent place for a mixed salad! Likely the other menu items are of equal quality.

Yelp
Had the house special ox tail. Yes it doesn't sound appealing but it was delicious. Think slow roasted rib roast. I highly recommend. The vegetable soup was great. But the the best part was the house made Carmel vodka they give you at the end of the meal. Amazing. .

Yelp
good food, and a good host, the only bad thing is that they charged me twice for the same amount to my credit card, which could be an error but I wrote them asking for a refund and didn't get any answer

Yelp
We read the recommendation for this place on Longly. Found it and got to it at 11:10pm, after arriving in Granada by train at 10pm. It was rather close to our hotel. My dad was looking forward for their ox tail having read the review. Waiter told us the kitchen was closing in 10 mins, asked us politely to eat fast. We got a house special chicken and ham soup, a salad, a schnitzel sort of dish and the ox tail. Soup was good, but a little too salty for my tasting. Salad was delicious! Schnitzel was over done. Ox tail, however, was really really yummy!! Even the bone was soft enough to chew... Not that I ate the bone. Didn't get any tapas though, but maybe because we were sitting in the restaurant? The wall was full of famous people's pictures, but didn't have time to look at them. If you do come, try the ox tail!

Yelp
This place is solid. Service at the bar was a little bit poor, seems like he didn't like foreigners, but the restaurant was perfect. Service was super friendly. Food was great. We got the swordfish and steak and both were great, appetizers were even better. Well worth the price of admission. DESSERTS HERE ARE AMAZING. Get the dessert sampler. Wow. So great.

Yelp
As you probably know, this restaurant was owned by a famous soccer player and is now owned and ran by his sons. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. We had a few tapas which were very good and a great red wine. The food on the menu looked great...but we were there on a food tour and the tapas were pre-selected for us. I had one tapas that they were entering into the tapas contest...and it was excellent.

Yelp
Apparently an old stand-by, this is a place where you'll get fed but there will be little that's memorable. Near the Centro, my bet is that it won't be tough to find better. We were here in August so you have to balance the fact that many restaurants are closed for the owners vacation and the remodeling that always happens now. Food and service were good but not enough to go back.

Yelp
This restaurant is recommended by the hotel we stayed in Granada. I highly recommend this place. The food is really good and the service is super.

Yelp
Four of us had the afternoon meal a week ago at Chikito. Three of us had swordfish very tasty but a bit overdone, ensalada mixta great, patas fritos and postre done well. A little pricy but in the tourist zone so guess you have to expect that. Staff was helpful and service above average

Yelp
Revolting chicken salad drenched in mayonnaise with anemic canned asparagus. Tiny pieces of chicken looked like cat food hiding in cheap iceberg lettuce. Avoid this place!! Worst meal by far in Spain. Vegetable soup was poor quality but slightly less inedible than the salad.

Yelp
Ok food. Most things our group tried were tasteless. Not sure if it was the restaurant or Spanish food is not suitable for our taste buds
