Chilango’s Taqueria NYC

My brother came home with a torta of milanesa de pollo and I tried it and had to switch dinner plans. At first I was like maybe it was just that torta but my partner and I came to try different things and every single taco we had was delicious. I had also called to ask questions and the person I spoke to was super kind, helpful, and funny. Highly highly recommend

Came here past midnight after a US Open game and man what a great treat. The taco truck is more like a taco van so I almost missed it but look for the one with a colorful LED sign. The guy at the counter was sooo kind. The food, outstanding! Super flavorful and then he gave me all their sauces to try.. Omg amazing! I had al pastor and bistec

They charged me $10.89 for 2x carne asada tacos. This wasn’t the first time they overcharged me for items here. At first, I felt like it was a mistake, but them adding their own tip or adding dollars to my order isn’t right or fair. I won’t support them anymore, and if I ever decide to, I’ll buy from Postmates or Uber Eats where tacos are $4.00 and not $5+ in person. No more going in person. Disgusting behavior.

Food is great but they never pick up when I call. It says they open at 5pm but I’ve called at 5:30, 5:45 and no answer. They should update their hours.

This place is Great, The Chef is amazing, recommend al pastor tacos and the Quesadilla de Tinga!

I ordered 15 minutes in advance cause I was in the train for pick up. Just to arrive 15 minutes later and just to tell me that they didn’t make it cause they didn’t want my food to get cold!!! Like I was so upset like how is that something they need to worry about. I’m paying for the food and ordering why do you care if it gets cold or not. Never again!! I would avoid this place if you want to do; to go… cause clearly they ignore you. And the one time I did order here last time the food is sub-par at best.

Simply superb! The pastor & carne asada tacos were unbelievable, the service was outstanding, and I could drink that salsa, it’s so delicious. I’ll be coming back often!!
