Lovely owners, a hotel as well, go and stay and be in the ruins really early. Then swim in the truly awesome Cenotes out of town.

We stopped for lunch after a visit yo the ruins on our guides recommendation. Enjoyed the guacamole and pico. Our other food was good as well.

Vegetarian panuchos were really good! Unfortunately when it got dark mosquitos became unbearable and we needed to end our dinner quickly.

I was little bit disappointed, after month at Mexico this was the worst what I was served. The food was cold, not spicy at all. They gave us 4 tortillas per food. There are no other salsas as I was used to from other place. Taste of the food was OK.

The food was really good and reasonably priced for tourists. Hercules was our server every time we went and he was awesome, very helpful, and spoke English.

Had a delicious meal at Chile Picante! Our waitress was very nice, and the Cochinita Pibil and Pollo Pibil were both delicious. We stocked up on beer and a few snacks at the shop below after our meal too. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

We tried several tacos with different meats and they all were amazing. Definitely stop at this place when visting the Coba Ruins.

Savory, clean, fair priced. Reccomend to anyone looking for some slow food after visiting Coba. The pork and fish are fantastic. The steak was also as good as they come.

Yelp
Great food and location! I got the veggie enchiladas verde and my guy got the Pollo pibil- chicken cooked in a traditional Mayan style. The portions were huge but we still ate it all in one sitting. Great drinks too- fresh fruit juices, milkshakes and smoothies. The view of the sunset was gorgeous. Very convenient to our hotel at Mayahau right behind.

Yelp
We stopped here after taking a guided tour, we decided to get the limousine bike ride (seated cart with driver behind pedaling us around) which was a great idea. We were greeted with a smile and took a seat at one of the outside tables, although the restaurant is an open air format. We enjoyed the lime soup (tortilla soup) that had chicken and tortilla chips very flavorful, ceviche (shrimp & octopus), empanadas (corn tortillas with pork in achiote sauce), guacamole chips & salsa (fresh and medium heat). The service was excellent, open, understanding, and helpful. We relished the break and enjoyed theirs hospitality. Food is great. This is definitely a restaurant that I will revisit.
