Chile Rojo

Great place. Husband and wife owned. She makes fantastic sushi. Just stopped in for a snack but they have a great menu and prices. We had sushi and wings. Very friendly staff and owners. My boy had a smoothie and he loved it!!

This was likely our favorite restaurant in Puerto Viejo. The staff were so attentive and polite. The food was excellent! We got the pad Thai tofu which was excellent and the green curry with mahi mahi which was also excellent. We will definitely be back.

Chef/Owner Andrew is awesome. Biggest pieces of Sushi I’ve had in the year that I’ve been living in Costa Rica. Came for Thanksgiving 2025 wns had a great “American thanksgiving dinner” with Sushi lol.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to. Excellent sushi and food. Fantastic service. The owner was there and could not have been more pleasant and helpful. They are able to recommend best picks based on the freshest fish. Highly highly recommend.

The best holiday turkey dinner I have had on the Caribbean coast. Stuffing and gravy were top notch and the warm purple cabbage salad was delicious. Reasonably priced compared to other touristy holiday offerings and well worth it. Friendly management stopped to chat for a minute too. Great spot to watch the action of Puerto Viejo. Amazing Asian food in PV. We had Gyoza, pad Thai, green curry. White wine also delicious! Lovely staff, chatty owner, obviously a long established spot for great food. Def recommend coming here!

This was one of our favorite restaurants during our entire trip to Costa Rica. The food was so good that we came back for dinner again the next night to try other items from the menu, glad we did! Ordered the dynamite shrimp, pork gyozas, shrimp pad Thai, triple color roll, Thai chicken bowl, and Asian sticky pork ribs. Everything was amazing, but the 2 dishes that were superior were the Asian sticky pork ribs and the dynamite shrimp. Beautiful view of the ocean right infront of the restaurant. No parking, but within walking distance from all hotels in PV.

Korean chicken wings were amazing! Had the calamari and sea bass with curry and they were equally delicious.
