Good ambience and friendly service. The waiters were helpful and polite. But the food was disappointing. Considering each main/pasta/salad is $30-50, my expectation was higher than what was served. We didn't try the pizza but what we ordered wasn't worth the money.

Dinner tonight was at Chill at portofino. We were welcomed and lead to our table. It was pretty small but we managed to fit everything on there. We were offered still or sparkling water. I got a mango frozen daiquiri which was delicious and I loved the addition of the flower. My partner got an old fashioned which he liked as well. For mains, my partner had a margarita pizza. The base was really nice with a great crust. Classic margarita that was really good and he said he would definitely have it again. I had fish tacos, which were absolutely delicious! The fish in the tacos was tender, and the avocado and coleslaw with it worked really well. The chips on the side were lightly salted, thin and had a nice crisp to them. Would definitely come here again (in fact we booked again for a few nights time). Plenty of vegetarian options (palm cove seems to cater mostly for omnivores so this was a welcome surprise). The staff were friendly and nice and it was lovely to dine right across from the ocean. Edit: went here for dinner again and was again very happy with everything! My pasta was amazing and the pizza was so delicious!

Really lovely foods and drinks with plenty of variety. The portions for the price could be bigger in some cases. But a pleasant experience for sure, and would recommend the oysters and cocktails for sure. If you’re in the area, check it out for a quick lunch and comfortable afternoon chill out.

Dropped into this café on a cool breezy morning. So, not sure what to expect. Nicely positioned at the end of the Esplanade across the road from the beach in Palm Cove. Suffice to say I was impressed. Service was great, staff very friendly. Coffee was excellent. And the carrot cake was beautifully presented. And it was delicious. Just wished they had used fresh cream 😢 (this café is not cheap). Plenty of seating, both on the restaurant side and the café side.

Great spot on the corner across the road from the beach. We popped in for some drinks, the staff were very friendly and only too happy to please! Spacious and a great spot to people watch! Worth a stop and next time we'll eat here. *Back again and this place didn't dissapoint. The staff are friendly and hapyy to assist. They're open late afternoons when many other places close between lunch and dinner service so give them a go! We stopped for some light snacks, drinks and coffee and it was all as expected.

Based on location and the incredible view, you can’t go wrong. It’s always quite busy, I came just before the dinner rush so my meal was brought quickly. I had the calamari which was clearly freshly made, but a smaller portion could be made. Would say overall high, tourist prices.

This certainly seems like the place to go on the esplanade in Palmcove. They're always busier than anywhere else. Very nice spot on the corner with nice decor. The wait staff are very good and easy going. They are engaging and are happy to help with selections to make sure you get what you like. The food was pretty good. Not spectacular, but not a thing wrong with it. Probably priced accordingly with a good selection of wines. The gluten free diner has a huge array of options to choose from and They're pretty good. No matter how many days you cove for, Portofino is a must visit. I did notice this time they didn't have the seafood platter on offer.

The food here is reasonable but the service can be slow and clumsy at times. The coffee is pretty good so a good place to stop in for a morning coffee or cold drink in the afternoon. The place is in need of a good clean and scrub. The cleanliness of the areas you can see, makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the places you can’t.
